No, t20 is a game developer. I am what a forum mod looks like. We are both cute, but different. 
aaaah well can one of you answer my question? - what with u all being so cute n everything person who answers gets lots of stroking perhaps even a small saucer of milk (if cat based cuteness) or a small bone (if dog based cuteness)

so basically, the process is :
- rendering all portraits
- downtime and magic 'copying of image data'
- restart rendering with automated replication resulting in updated forumportraits 'almost instantaneously'Ö
- chains removed, beard shaved, respect regained and humiliation period over (and finally a decent meal).
you look like the cat sort of cuteness *gives stroking and saucer of milk* so how about a timescale on item database update.... :-)
