Tech I - 300 Tech I Faction - 200 Tech II - 500
Oh sure the Tech II ships only get two slots, but they can fit any modules. Tech I Faction ships are limited to fitting two crap rigs, and Tech I is fine where it is.
Am I the only one that sees a problem with this? Faction should be better then Tech I, why gimp it in rigs?

Yah, best way to think of Faction ships us as T1 ships with a rig already attatched (just with a whole bonus rig sllot, and no rig penalties).
Similarly, if you're wishing it to make sense, think of T2 the same way- its just a T1 ship that has already been given one hell of a super rig. -----------------------------------------------

Still doesn't make any sense to me that tech I faction ships have less calibration points than even tier 1 tech I ships. They are supposed to be better, aren't they ? It's especially annoying for the battleships where the new tier 3 ships make those faction battleships even less attractive.

Faction ships are supposed to be somewhere between t1 and t2. In relation to that statement it makes no sense to give them less than t1. :-/ -- |

All ships calibration points are down now T2 only get 300 points 200 for T1

Edited by: CptEagle on 21/11/2006 22:20:26 I've salvaged a bunch of wrecks yesterday, and the amount resources I got tells me you need about 500 wrecks to make a single rig, I was salvaging from all the wrecks that are on the battlecruiser FFA on Sisi. So I'm guestimating they will be really expensive and only be used on Faction or pimped T2 ships.

Yes, this is pretty lame, all of it. Firet the rigs give you a penalty that hurts, then there is the cali points. Why the hell 3 slots on T1 ships, there is no way to use 3 rigs now.
And I doubt there is 200 available points on a T1 ship, all I can fit is 1 x 100 points and 1 x 75 points.
We need more info on this, and a tool that shows how many points we have and how much each rig use. And maybe a skill to reduce points usage.

Perhaps we'll see skills that reduce calibration points, or mods to fit that increase the points?

Calibration points are now shown on the fitting tab of your ship info. But faction ships getting less than T1 ones is fkn ridiculous. Should be 50% more. If anything in EVE is not in need of ANY kind of nerf, it is faction ships. --------- ZOMG my sig was concordokkened! Link removed due to bad language on remote site. -wystler

Edit: well on second they should remove calabration coz there a dwawback on the rigs it hurt more then what ccp thinks lol
