Tried to do forum search and nothing found in General Discussions from today. I guess someone else already found it (forum wh...ring anyone?), but I'll challenge my luck ;)
The votings for the MMORPG.COM Readers Choice 2006 Nominees were opened today. In this first round, the nominees for the actual voting are picked. So this is the chance for all us fanbois to do some clickies:

lol they need to get KAIL out and start useing fine tuneing tools befor it get some voting.
place the NERF HAMMER away and fix things instead of busting them and it will be the best and worthy of the votes

Since it's nominations, every MMO on the market for the most part is on the list. However, the true competition with probably be pretty predictable: Everquest II, Guild Wars, WoW, Saga of Ryzom, etc.

That said, 2006 was a HORRIBLE year for mmos, with such amazing games as DDO and dark and light. EvE should have no trouble pulling it off again, the only competition has aged worse than EvE.
