I love the Maelstrom (with ACs) for the fact it's FINALLY a full out turret ship. I was praying for the Hurricane to stay that way too but i guess it's impossible.
I'm so god**** tired of missiles.

Maelstrom is very much disliked, but we have just gotten tired of whining about it. And I dont share your views on the Hurricane either actually, mostly because I feel its supposed to be able to take on the other battlecruisers and not t1 cruisers.
Agreed completely. I like the Maelstrom more than the Phoon or Tempest for one simple reason though - guns. It has mainly (only) guns. FINALLY, was about time we got a pure turret ship.
It's why i hate the Hurricane nerf too, it lost all of its flavor.

What was wrong with the tempest 0_o. If anything, 6 guns and 2 nos are more effective in todays pvp than 8 guns. Not to mention the tempest has a damage bonus which is nearly equal to the dps of the maelstrom with 8 guns.
You don't get it. There's NOTHING wrong with the pest. But i wanted, for once, an entirely GUNship. None of that missiles crap. (or nosfs, blasted nosfs).
I'm minmatar. I wouldn't be minmatar if i wasn't somehow masochistic and refuse to go with the flow and do whatever "today's pvp" requires. pfft. 
Well ok, one thing's wrong with it. It's ugly while the Mael is sexy.
