Mixing corp and personal bookmarks on your right click menu was awkward and irritating. Separating them out made perfect sense. However, it is going to be my own bookmarks that are the ones I am likely to use the most often and probably when in a hurry. Corp ones are less important.
But now you have shunted all the personal bookmarks into a sub menu, meaning it takes longer to get to them, whilst the less useful (and often annoying) corp bookmarks are in the route menu.
This needs switching around.
Also, displaying Corp bookmarks should be an option from the esc menu. |

I was just about to make this thread. It allows me to bring back the picture that has really paid for itself over the years.
CCP Development Process
Our solution was just to color the personal and corporate bookmarks differently, or a hardrule line between them. There's no reason to put them in extra submenus. |

Really REALLY stupid idea whomever came up with this one!
It's pretty essential to right click and have the bookmarks handy, not have to dig through a bunch of damned subfolders to find them.
Revert the stupid. Please.

Would be pretty easy to have a folder just for corp bookmarks in the right click menu, and have personal ones just like they used to be. |

Seriously...at least the OP has a valid point and wants to improve or fix a minor inconvenience. Calling CCP stupid because of a very minor flaw in a new system is in itself stupid.

Well, they did end up making a pretty fundamental part of travel in the game inconvenient to access. It's not necessarily "stupid", but it isn't well thought out either. |

What they did with bookmarks pisses me off
I had it all set up how i wanted and now I have to search for the crap that used to be right there when I Right clicked. Now its frustration as i go to slid over to the gate or station BK that was right there and I miss it and the window closes etc.
Put it back the way it was. Why would you make it harder to access our Bookmarks. I mean WTF.

Another option would be to make a folder system for bookmarks, where you choose if they go into a another box, or if they stay out.

Reverse the order and leave it at that. The more work you pile on CCP the longer the change is going to take to be implemented and this needs to change now. I can always move the corp locations, that I need on a constant basis to personal locations, but because of the very limited number of corp locations I can't do it the other way around. This isn't complicated, it's a simple issue with an easy common sense solution. |

Wormholes are constantly changing, you know how much work it was before putting bms in a can and being out of date every six hours? Then distributing them out to all members of the corp? I have no problem with personal and corp bms together, this is still miles ahead of the old way! |

here is my dig:
CCP did not execute this idea in the best/beneficial way. Great ideas suggested from m8s and this thread:
GÇó Corp/Alliance as separate categories, with personal being default listed like before and not a unnecessary "group" like currently!
GÇó color code backgrounds of bookmarks (also reflected on OV) -- Will help reduce title tagging methods on BM's too.
GÇó corporation and alliance color coded bookmarks should be starred on OV (easy, swap 'warp scramble' icon in such method) >> but let us color code background too at the same time.
GÇó Allow us to open bookmark categories in separated windows >> right click
GÇó Allow us to right click our ship to place an immediate bookmark of your origin.
GÇó Drag and drop bookmarks links within corporate, alliance and Fleet or Private chat. (kinda controversial as this eliminates bookmark items purpose somewhat-áways). >> right click warp to bookmark, instead of player origin.
Anyways, fix and tweak it CCP now that you put this on the plate. ;)

hell yea. now can we get them alliance wide as well
btw, i noticed i cant place bookmarks directly in the right folder (thanks for folders, they make it so much easier!) in corp bookmarks. is this because i didnt start the folder? if so, please make every folder owned by corp so i can save everything directly to corp bm's. not like i have made a personal bm since the patch anyway :D |

The contextual submenu thing really should be reverted back to old, bookmarks = life and they don't work now, buried too deep.

I thought this was a bug since in some solar systems, the right-click bookmarks are in the old "correct" style on the first level of the menu. However, other solar systems have the second slider menu for bookmarks.
Why the inconsistancy?
Anyways, I vote for personnal bookmarks back the first level of the right-click menu, please.

CCP devs don't play eve so they don't know what an insta is for 
or apparently what insta means....

Am I the only one that opens bookmark folder windows for the important stuff I need for survival?
Of course, that hasn't been working right lately either...doesn't update the jump count when I jump systems.
Still though, quicker than the damn menu ever was. Especially undock marks. |
