Welcome to the last day of the RMR era. What, in your opinion, were the biggest political and strategic trends and events that occured during RMR, and how did they effect you personally? Were any or all of them influenced or mandated by the technical changes that were released in RMR?
Have fun remembering. See you on the other side.

In my opinion, the Dragon patch was the end of an era. End of playable fleet battles and the coming of the Node Crash.
Post dragon era has been just this transition to Revelations I.

Having less than 24 hours ago sat with 241 in local in an out of the way system in a normally quiet region, with the majority of those 241 at a pos that was blowing up, including 3 dreadnoughts and at least 5 carriers and only seeing a mere 15 or so pilots crash out, i can say that's not quite true... Bearing in mind this fight included a massive logonski of about 80 pilots or so and a stupid number of fighters and utility drones, I'm amazed it only started jump queuing at 241 in local.
IMO the biggest change has been POS warfare, but with that, the capability to field massive numbers of pilots and capital ships at once, the recent fight for 1v- being a prime example, with at one point local nearing 450 and there being 25 dreadnoughts shooting at one pos.

Uhhhh, wait a minute...
Has anything at all really changed since RMR was deployed?
For sure it's basicly the same pilots living in the same systems like a year ago?

Agree with this one.
Politically for me, it was the defeat of FE by ATUK, destruction of the unified North-East, us turning on the former friends (NBSI and PA). Destruction of FE (many of which leaders and FC's are now in BoB). Creation of VOID and destruction of VOID (which I already haven't witnessed).
For the short time I'm in ASCN, the war against BoB is the major event so far.

Titans (and motherships)
EC-P8R siege, and resulting turmoil in the north
The Pendulum War (it started post-RMR)
Gallente election
Fleet lag (hopefully improved a lot in Revelations 1)

Because they just revealed where Omeega stashes all his alts (hint, what numbers eight and is full of drones ?)
On a more serious note, I'm guessing its to do with the storyline too (name of the next Amarr emperor and his assassin and other choice "revelations" I'm hoping !).

- POS Warfare
- Capital ships
- The end of the conventional regional alliance
- Long Range
- Outposts
- The previously clear distinctions of good and evil become various shades of grey
- Leadership becomes a skilled profession
- NBSI
All of the above had considerable impact on my gameplay one way or the other. Most anoying of all would be the **** spamming Isk sellers Highlight would be putting AXE in theyr place and forming AAA, was simply awesome.

The upcoming of a Titan which was underpowered, build and brought to life at almost the same time in 2 alliances going to war just before the new regions and revelation stood up. |

RMR:
Biggest Political Trends: Territorial Expansion Influenced by... growing 0.0 population Mandated by... territorial markers (POS)
Biggest Strategic Trends: Building outposts Influenced by... IPOs Mandated by... Territorial Expansion
How did it affect me... Not much. I was too busy elsewhere. Remember being impressed when outposts started popping up. ---------------------------- Retiree
