Ok, there has been much talking amongst certain players of a frigate fighting league - 5 v 5 teams ganking each other in low sec space.
If I look into setting up such a league - which would be strictly OOC and no political repercussions, would players commit to it and is there enough interest in doing this?
I think teams of 5 with 1 reserve would be about right. I could draw up some rules and even devise a league system. If you think this idea is cool, just drop a post with "yes" in it, if not, then "no".
So yes/no answers only please, just to get an idea of numbers. Thanks.

Only thing is that the only ones pwning people in this kind of league are the old farts who can afford the lamborchini of frigates with cupholders and benchwarmers.
If you catch my drift.
But a good idea still.

Sounds like lots of fun.
Maybe the rules would require matches to be at planets and would need a ref to make sure that no targetting or such starts before the kick off and all players at at the required range for tactics to be of any use

Yes, although I can't see the 'OOC' bit lasting long.
And, without GM/dev influence, and the necessary penalties, I can't see the 'no podding' rule doing too well either.
But I would enter regardless, because these things just bounce off my titanium skullplate.

yep. there are many fun things to do in EVE with frigs...like play "capture the flag", king of the hill, and even 'football' 0_o so i say go for it.
