ok, great patch, lots of neat stuff, time to go to wrk again and make them right :)
* When i set up a private auction or item exchange from character A to character B, the item is NEVER visible to character B. Character A sees the auction normally but B never does no matter what filter i try to use ( i tried character As name in the respective region, the name of the item, or a very tight price range but nothing works. Corpmates have verifeid this but I've heard from some people that it worked for them at least once. We have no other way to do this since:
* we have no way to sort the ****ed contracts list, and by seeing only a handfull of items per page, "shuffling" through the pages is DEFINETELY not an option. The new list is eye candy and the icons cute and all but it is not as practical.. as you can only see a minute amount of the total items.
AND
* we have no way to sell multiple items that cant go in the market, one by one. >>> how are people going to sell inexpensive BPCs ? sure you can reserve one of your VERY LIMITED contract slots if you want to sell a single carrier BPC, but it;s totaly impractical for people who want to sell a handfull of cruiser or battlecruiser BPCs for example. >>>Same goes for items sold in large quantities but people need in diferent amounts ( COSMOS items anyone? ).
Make it possible to sell large amounts of identical items that DONT GO IN THE MARKETm in one go, with people being able to buy as much as they want for them. This should work in both auctions AND item exchanges. ( ie long term vs imediate contracts..) ie: 20 Thorax BPCs at 240.000 isk or 20 Thorax BPCs starting at 200.000 , buyout at 300.000isk. etc. etc.
when they were on the market you could find and buy the exact amount you needed , now you either have to buy 20 or 30 and try to sell the rest you dont need or wait for ever to find a small number.
*introduce the ability to search for groups of items and not just unique ones. People are interested many times to see the prices of all energized membranes so they can chose between types, weighting their buying power. Or they want to pick one of each kind and not have to search for each in each friging region to find a nice price.
*change the ridiculously small number of contracts you can have , by allowing people to have at least 40 or so with the first skill, or maybe introduce a second higher rank skill that requires the first at level 5, for the hard core traders to get. first one gives you at least 5 per skill level, second 8 or 10.
*make contracts visibly from all over the galaxy. who is going to search for 4 items he wants to buy to fit his ship in 20 different regions? before you could also check prices globaly and get a feeling... now you have to go 20-30 queries PER ITEM you want to check, as there is no way to check multiple tiems you;re interested in at the same time.
all these issues : >having small numbers of contracts, >making "cheap" items that sell in large numbers unavailable at the market ANd impossible to sell in "contracts" >making contacts visible only one region at a time.
will have the opposite effect of what you seem to intended form the devblogs.
--> people will concentrate MORE on trade hubs insdtead of less, as everyone will prefer to go buy and sell in one region instead fo looking up half the galaxy to find what they need. --> peopel wil make armies of alts which will detract from their game experience ans they;l only be "machines with slots". --> people will do the same request many many times all over again to find what they want. not to mention it;s inelegant.. what are we supposed to do , take a notebook and write down prices? Only to my dismay find out that the best price was lost to me as it was in my 8th out of 23 regions i checked and after 40 minutes that i finished someone ele got to it first?
=========
i may sound bitter and that because i am... it's a shame that all the great work is marred by glaring shortcomings!!
