Gotten from Level 2 Agent at Augnais
The Blockade
Mission briefing Pirates have set up a blockade near a hidden stargate in Augnais, and are swarming over any passersby, which are mostly merchants and civilians. Pirates tend to create these temporary blockades at ill-defended stargates, usually ones which have been set up by civilians and are not guarded by our forces. But we still have an obligation to protect the citizens of Algintal. Therefore I want you, to fly to the stargate and eliminate the illegal blockade.
Overview and Objectives The following objectives must be completed to finish the mission: Objective Eliminate the leader of the pirates blockading the stargate. You will be informed when he has been dispatched, his demise should disperse the pirate gang eventually.: Rewards The following rewards and bonuses will be yours if you complete this mission: 36000 Isk Base 31000 Bonus
----------
Whats ridiculous about it??
Within 2 Minutes over 100 ships show up, if you warp out to repair, when you come back another 50 have shown, soon you have 4 'pages' of full overview of ships. And some of these are larger ships.
Luckilly I only lost 0.1 standing for telling the agent ot stick it.. All this for 67K ISK?...Now THAT's risk vs reward..RIGHT!
You can flame me now like you always do (like I care)..just a warning to others

You should try doing the level 4 version. I had to drop it too, I was damped down so much I couldn't lock on to a bs at 4km's. The reward was about the same too.

That was Exactly the same Mission i tried using a Bellicose. A Cruiser for a Lvl 2 Mission is more than enough, right! Jea, right!

This mission is prety easy, you just gotta kill the npc's b4 the next wave comes which is doable even ith low sp. Just make sure u do the mission as soon as u accept it rather than waiting several min.
The bounty on the lvl 4 one is nice. 15-18mill

The serpentis level four version is not doable atm due to excessive damping by npc's. The first wave is np, I can lock on at about 12km's in my mega, but the second wave reduced my lock range down to 2 km's. Even when webbing cruisers with an X5 web, it was **** near impossible to keep inside 2 km's not to mention the effect the transversal had on my large blasters at such close range.
Couple this with the distance between all the targets and it just became stupid trying to chase down each and every target to 2km's in a BS. Even with the hp increase 70% resists and two X t2 lar's I couldnÆt keep up with the dps in the time it was taking to chase down each of the targets.

Note: The entity spawns in The Blockade missions are not time based. More waves spawn as you destroy certain npcs. You will have to figure out which npcs yourselves :).

As each time a new mission is introduced, the reward is very low and is balanced each downtime based on the time people take to complete it. So if it is hard, reward will increase.

OOh, that could make smartbombing 'intresting'
Look ma, iv'e smarted bombed that whole wave. Oh my, flee, all their friends have come to have.

Though it has to be said we want more missions like that, solve the logic puzzle or pay with unexpected waves (things like if will 3 webbers while there is still a commander alive he calls in an entire squad of new webbers to replace them etc.)

For those who might not get the hint, the key of doing this mission is to leave atleast 1 of every ship type alive until there are only singles left. Than shoot them from top down, BS first, than cruiser, than battlecruiser, than assault/inty, than frigate. When a wave spawns when you kill a said ship than you know you must leave those alive at the last time. . Seriously Have I Not Said How I Can Assist Some One You Are Killing Online? |

I did a lvl 4 one earlier and I love it! Just train up a better ship with good weapn skill then you will love it too. Money in the bag I tell ya. Just remember npc ships got different speed. So kill the ships bettewn two groups will give you some breathing time to kill the closest group. If you can handle it, bm the location then warp out. I like the new mission code. A bit shocking at start but once you know what is going to happen, it is all for good fun. I will bring a few friends into such missions in the future. Nothing better than watching 3-5 zealots poping ships as they spawn.

I can confirm it's not timed based, nor is the dampening that hard to counter for the Serps. It's a very nice mission.

One would assume that its killing the scramblers that spawns new waves since you can't be killed if you're not scrambled.

In the level 4 version I did there are 3 spawns in the second wave with at least 80km's between each and all three pop as the last ship of the first wave is destroyed and they all aggroed as soon as they spawned. It was the massive sensor damping spam from the serpentis which caused the problems I had, there were around 15-20 cruisers and all were constantly using dampers. Having your shipÆs targeting range cut to 2km's, with targets ending up spread out all over the place is going to cause anyone problems, regardless of sp investment and what ship they choose to fly. The average distance between ships in each group ended up at around 20km's once I got in range to engage any group. I ended up trying it in a Taranis, but tbh it became more trouble than it was worth at this point, bearing in mind the mission I had, had a 40 minute time limit for the bonus.
If I were to group with friends, I wouldn't waste my time doing missions, I would head off to a high level plex somewhere, where every member of the group can benefit, and the rewards justify the need for extra firepower. With the constant nerfing to mission loot and drop rates, mission rewards are a waste of time if you are not doing them solo.

Sorry, but this is just NOT good. This is EXACTLY the sort of information that should appear in the patch notes...you want people to go out and fly your new missions, but by not giving them this information in advance you are penalising EXACTLY those people. All it needed was;
Missions; * Destruction of certain NPCs on missions may intitiate new spawns. Be careful out there.
Seriously, how hard can it be? But of course, I suppose a mission runner losing a ship doesn't matter that much. After all we don't PVP, so we don't contribute anything to the game... ---

I did the lvl 2 blockade mission last night and it didn't spawn as many ships as you describe. There was about four waves of reinforcements that came in. The only thing I know I did in specific was I killed the frigate rats before the cruiser rats. It was a little tedious, but not as bad as it sounds like it happened for you.

This mission has to be bugged...
I just did the blood raider mission lvl4, so far all easy but you have about 40 minutes time to finish the mission to get bonus reward and I finished this mission after 3 1/2 hours and rougly 4000 cruise missiles less. This mission is simply not doable in time. Reward: Awesome 160k reward + (not achievable) 190k bonus reward. 4 hours of missioning for 799lp... I¦m impressed!

Because im kind, ill quote something that is posted above that maybe you should have read before whining about the rewards and time limit.

Well, I'm reaching, but there's a whole new griefing opportunity with the combination of these new "shoot a certain NPC to create a new spawn" mission and the scanning system...
I scan and find you (takes about 2 minutes with the new system) I warp into your mission, shoot the rat that creates the new spawn, bookmark something before I go, then I warp out.
Chaos ensues behind me. Your ship gets blown up. I warp back to the deadspace gate. When it disappears (because you've cancelled the now-undoable mission) I warp to the bookmark I made, and loot your can.
High sec piracy, and no Concord involvement. Yay! ---

To be honest I couldn't care less about mission difficulty or 'challange' just another to add to the list of 'Refuse when givin'.
I only do missions for faction rating due to the RIDICULOUS one you have to have for an Empire POS. So as along as my agent rating allows me to do the RIDICULOUS 16 Missions you have to do to get a teeny little jump in faction rating..thats the way it is.

I did the level 3 version earlier in a sniperdomi - easy but time-consuming. I'm sure these NPCs are tougher than the usual mission rats.
Draconia: there are various people who already have the standings who can help you set up a high-sec POS for a very reasonable fee...

I got the level 3 version last night 90LP, 56K ISK and 60K ISk bonus, warped into the mission at 50Km's and EVERYTHING aggroed me, no drones out, didn't even target anything, and I didn't even get a chance to count how many ships were there (lots of BC and some BS I think. If you want a misison this hard fine (well actually not fine, not even remotely fine) but at least make the rewards equal the difficulty. Personally this mission needs work, not all mission runners have maxed out skills and pimped out ships, we casual mission runners hand over our money just like anyone else.
