uhm I don't know what game you're running the missions in but I don't think there's 15 mil bounty off a level 2. Can't be Anyway - I ran the level 4 one and it wasn't anything more special. Actually was kinda boring had to watch TV while doing it.
Are you sure you put hardeners on your ships? (BTW a little tip: if you do get jammed a lot might be a good idea to use some drones ;) , and if you're dampened just get in close )
P.S. I have 12m skill points though so maybe I'm it's my superior skills that make it so easy.

I hope you'll forgive me if I sound a little bit offensive here?
That is the most absolutely ******** way to program a new wave of enemies i've ever heard of in my life.
"gee, lets just have a random frigate spawn a whole new set of enemies." What is that!? And what if this unlucky individual pops that specific enemy the first time unaware of which ship it was only to have to tank double the amount he was just tanking suddenly? and then on the next kill gets it AGAIN? now he's tanking three times the normal amount?
now ive seen these missions and its absolutely ridiculous how you've got them set up. Time based would be bad enough, but at least you've got a warning about it usually. This other stuff on the other hand is ridiculous. With just a few badly placed shots you could end up getting yourself killed whereas normally you could tank the mission just fine.
it's like you're encouraging the player pilots to get themselves killed.

Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed your nine month coma. A) It's never a random ship. It's always the same ship. Somebody has done the mission before you and can probably tell you what the triggers are if you ask. If you can't find any information, either accept the risk or don't take the mission. B) Time based wasn't better. C) Try mining in 1.0 systems. I think you'll be safe from any nasty shooting there.
Now I must find a chainsaw and take off my head since I must be a zombie for making a serious reply in a necro thread. At least I didn't bring it back from beyond the first page |

This mission sucks! Everything agroed the moment i warped in, so i had to warp out.. When i warped back in even more had spawned so i got nuked by a massive lagwave, got stuck on a frikkin merchant quarter and lagged so bad i couldnt even find a distant spot to warp out towards.... Lost my Drake for some crap loot and no reward..
On the bright side,.. the 38 mill insurance pay was just what i needed to buy a raven ^^
But yh, next time i wont accept this one.

If you lost in a drake you'll lose the raven even faster.
