I corrected my problem, on the registry of my main machine was missing the "International" key located at "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel" I copy it from my Second PC and "voilß" I see the EVE login screen and can log into EVE.
If anyone want this file just ask, it's with the Portuguese settings but I think that they can be changed to whatever region in the control panel.
I can't give any warranties that it will work with everybody... It's working for me and that's it...

Server Status: Unknown
Reinstalled EVE, repatched, didnt work.
Uninstalled everything including deleted the reg file in the local machine software folder and reinstalled with the download right before the latest... Ill call it 7 and updated to 9. Still didnt work... I am going to go play other games for the next month... and then try again, this is ****ing me off and a whole lot of people are having this same **** problem and CCP isnt saying anything about wether or not they are working on a fix. I am sure they are thats why I am leaving for a month till they get this crap sorted out...
I am in Korea atm as im USA Military, will be checking from Japan next week. As of now, Server Status is Unknown, and it is not my fault. Wireless, hard line, whatever... I cant connect from my laptop.
CCP, please fix this... you are my only addiction atm, and it pains me to not be able to play >'.'< !!! "Guns for show, knives for a pro." |

The solution worked for me! The developers could really say anything but they did not, which means that they do not actually care. I would like to thank our hero - Light Raider - who found the solution to the problem. I have sent him some ISK as a sign of my gratitude. Could the guys who tried the solution, and fixed their problems do the same? That guy really deserves a reward.

same here.....sometimes up to 10 minutes.... I know they wanted to to something against login traps but I do not think that this is the right way

I have the same problem, stuck at least 8 min + on log in and P&P missing ingame. Nothing you could fix by yourself since I tried log on from 3 different computers with various versions of EVE from clean install to patched versions. So that problem has to be serverside related. Gonna try on 2 other computers tonight and expect the same result. This is only on one of my accounts (of course the one I play most :-/ )

Well, none of the solutions so far have worked for me, even the international setting one, i've put alot of effort into finding a solution to my problem and this problem was non existant before the big patch installed, frankly i'm about done with hunting for a solution and although i do enjoy the game, if i can't log in and enjoy it i obviously have no intention of continuing to pay for my accounts.
I know that doesn't mean anything to my fellow subscribers, but i hope that someone from CCP takes a look thru this thread and notices that no responses have been made on behalf of the support and that they will be losing money as soon as my cycles are up, frankly i'm annoyed that it's about 2.5 weeks before that occurs, i guess i payed for about 1.5 weeks of gameplay instead of a full month this time around, /shrug.
Well that's the way it goes i guess, unless something changes this is my goodbye to eve, i'm done trying to hunt down a solution to this.
that's why i have been paying them money, to play their game, not troubleshoot their programming in hopes of playing it at some point. Goodluck to everyone who has found the solution to their issues, i hope you enjoy the new content, it looked very interesting. /salute
