can't see what all this fuss is about. works perfect for me, no buffer and I'm even on a downgraded dsl atm. (usually run a 5mbit but atm only on 256/256).
only buffer I had was about 4 sec. when I tuned in to begin with.
But as I've been told by friends claiming to be computergeeks I'm just not either tellin the truth or a rare case... hmm.... because those havin problems post here, but those who's successfull are too busy watchin the tourney.
Update your drivers, update flash, use IE to watch it and bob's an annoying alliance :P

Last time it was actually possible to hear something and understand it. This time the quality is crappy, sounds cuts off every 2 seconds, buffering, laggy etc etc.. it sure doesnt look like the same quality to me.

There's 1 good principle in the software industry - Don't change something that works.
The idea behind swapping to that Adobe in-browser masochistic stream is beyond me.

Isn't it much harder to record from a flash stream?
That would ensure much more exclusivity when they (innevitably) release the DVD for this one...

yeh, I'll join in and say this is much crappier than the last 2 times.
Why the change?
The constant buffering might be because I'm not paying for it, but the ****tyness of the player freezing after buffering etc., really doesn't make me wanna spend any money on that.

I loved the last Tourney, and was really looking forward to this one.
But it's unwatchable. I'm stuck buffering every other word, and it's flat out painful to try to listen to, let alone watch.
PLEASE give us back a standard stream!

all of you complaining about buffering get some bandwidth ffs. i'm running it without a single stutter while playing eve. it's not them it's you. either that or my 4 year old pc on the cheapest cable package is in the perfect alignment with the stars to give me better streaming than you.

The speed of a PC has nothing to do with it's internet connection.

If you have a slow enough pc yes it can affect as i'm running eve while watching this and i have two friends that bought standard pcs this year that can't run eve worth a **** forget trying to do anything else. learn to read pls.
i'm not whining that would be you guys. and my main had his skills all messed up and just got deleted so this is what you get. if you have dsl this is what you get for using a pos type of broadband. i may share my bandwith but i can stream like a mofo ;)

and in case YOU didn't know eve takes cpu and bandwith to run ;)

This is more like eve radio then eve tv, considering the free stream is so slow you can't even watch it.
Guess if we want to actually watch the 'tv' part we have to pay $$ eh?

The performance varies, too, in the fight 20 mins ago it was perfect, in this fight somehow the stream video was 2 minute behind the audio. In the fighst 40 and 60 mins ago it was basicalyl unwatchable due to constant buffering.

Soo.. updated flash, watched for about 10 mins then it froze, in fullscreen. Tried to get my taskmanager up but it wouldnt show so I had to reboot the computer using the I lose button.
I'll be sure to tune in next year \o/

From what I hear the guys who actually paid for this are getting the exact same unwatchable service as the free stream. Seriously, I really really want to watch this tourny, but its impossible.

Nice.
Audio is great, but the video is going at 2 frames per second and just continuously lags behind the audio. Most of the time I just have a still picture. I hear boom boom from cruise missiles yet I'm still watching Hillmar's presentation at the fanfest.
