According to Eve Offline its still up and in VIP mode

With all due respect to all the players who replied to this post and to the devs: this (Eve) is a paid service like any other in gaming industry and I don't see how can someone be congratulated for their hard work whilst they have a job to do, but encounter issues in doing so.
If this was a free service, then, and only then, would I congratulate the hard work, but until then, I honestly expect 2+ million skill points for all this hassle created by the poor service since Odyssey to present time.
It is not us (player base paying with money or PLEX) who have the honor to play this game, it is the other way around, especially in these times where gaming sees a brand new approach and attitude towards customers aka gamers.
This is the hard-bone social fact, and it is not whining nor a personal offense brought to CCP employees, but you (CCP Company) have to become aware of the surroundings of other companies who develop Sci-Fi games and you have to care for your player base, not with announcements 'in time', but with real and tangible customer support compensations.

Hardly, people want free stuff anytime something lasts a bit longer than normal. Downtime normally lasts 5-10 minutes when it is scheduled for 30 minutes everyday. This time it goes 70 minutes past its normal scheduled up-time. It happens from time to time. Other MMOs generally have erratic down times for a week after a large patch. Now, CCPs turn for a large game changer with changing sov mechanics. If no one thought there would be longer down times for a week after well, I feel bad for you. You will be let down a lot in life due to a lot of expectations for things to go perfect every time.

If I had a shot vodka for every time I have seen it go from VIP Mode to Offline Mode tonight, I would be one very drunk West Aussie!!

I paid for eve, knowing that technical mishaps happen from time to time. That is a hard bone social fact. Mistakes happen. Get over it. Does 5% of your overall subscription time really affect you that much? If it does, you need to go outside a bit more and step away from the interwebs. If you really cant afford to pay for 6 months plex, the go and a get a job and stop complaining about how other people go about theirs.

What did you guys break this time? :P
