Mazalan Erata wrote:So again, arrived at next game after leaving earlier games for lag, disconnections and ever during updates. Got me started for 3 months, and payed nicely to end up with another game that has no intrest in letting players play their game, while they figure out where they ****** up with the update.
Honestly, I suppose it is my own fault for thinking that after spending so much money with the many thousands or millions in which we play these games, and buying extra credits on a weekly basis for getting just a little more ahead then others, that some of that money would be spend in creating a redundant server setup, where when someone fucks up, you don't bother the players for hours of game time, because you ****** up installing a update.
Where has the game world gone, when fucks ups are more important then the users that keep games like this running by paying for things that (in this case) might breakdown.
Oooohhh my god, 6 hours of downtime??? Your hosting an online game...
If it ain't broken, don't try to fix it, if it is broken, (THEN WHY HAVEN'T YOU FIXED IT YET)...
Lay off the bong.

Im going to say that it was a bit longer than that at times during launch. But I wouldn't know.

Currently reading "The Gentleman Bastard" series by Scott Lynch.
Its like a mix between Pirates and Oceans11. Good reads!
Now, back to my Reuben. The deli was packed so I'm eating in the park |

Geckos, Monocles, SP...
If they gave out anything, it should be a complimentary "Jar of Tears"..
(really though, I don't think anyone deserves **** ,except maybe a nap for the IT dept.) |

I think they are dead by now.
Fozzie is probably running the wheel now under whip and threats of electrocution.

Must be just you. Were all here just hanging out, sipping cocktails and posting thoughts on the treatment of hamsters nowadays. |

Arken Tanna Walked at night Arken saw his final sight. Now the question seems to be What on earth did tanna see.
It was written on a tomb stone in the game.
If you get this right I will legitimately see you as a long time serious gamer.
Sounds like Fable, but I know I've played some oldschool RPGs where you can read tombstones... can't put my finger on a specific name though.
I guess the original Kings Field? |

Don't complain. They could be like other companies which we won't speak of, that are ruining the entire gaming industry by charging you money every single time they implement a major patch. |

Still 98F here, but that sounds nice. A small glass of whiskey, a good book, and the night air filled with the song of whip-o-wills...
Might I recommend a series by Scott Lynch (The Gentleman Bastard Series).
Piracy, Thieving, Conspiracies, Gambling, and Espionage. Its like Pirates and Oceans11 mixed.

Most companies don't provide near as much feedback during unexpected downtime. As always CCP, keep it classy. Enjoy the pizza. Everyone posting about gimmies and awful encounters with almost 24 hours of reality will be silent when you are done working your magic. |
