Originally by: Roshan longshot Ok I know I am a pest, but still I rather have seen several patches at 5-10mb then one huge patch with all these bugs.
I wasted 8 hours downloading, and now here comes another one. Oh well...such is life I guess.
And deny CCP their publicity stunts? Yeah right ________________

Does CCP plan to make drone commands ever working properly? It's bad enough that the drones ignore the ships at 5 km firing at me and opt to aggro the inactive ones 60 km away, but now I have to keep constantly repeating my orders, as apparently drones are 3 year old children that need to be told several times before obeying.
How hard is it to make the drones: a. NEVER override a given command b. NEVER fire on an inactive ship
Even a way to tell them to never auto-target anything under any circumstances and only attack assigned targets would be welcome at this point.
And of cource as a mission runner I would like to know if CCP plans to do anything about the multitude of ways missions can be ruined by hostiles/griefers due to their complete dumbing down of the scanning process and the uselessness of trying to loot if you don't want to salvage.
Frankly, I am disgusted by this latest implementation on EVE. ________________

So, let me get this straight...
A. Not only will the wrecks not be identified by has/does not have loot, they won't even be automatically set to 'inspected' if someone actually inspects them? Do we have to manually do that too? And how is that any different from having to tag them?
Or...
B. Is that in addition to an automatic "set as inspected" when we open them, so that we can relinquish criminal flag rights even without being in range to actually inspect them?
If it's A, thanks for nothing, if it's B well nice but not really of much use.
Is there any intention to mark wrecks based on content of loot or lack thereof, or are we looking at a permanent looting nerf? ________________

They will no longer counterattack everything that attacks me first ... or how is this to be understod ?
I don't think that's what they are saying (hopefully).
After the last patch drones tend to: a. ignore specific orders to attack and pick their own targets b. while still attacking the designated target, decide to leave it and attack something else
Hopefully these are the things being changed/fixed ________________

Originally by: SteveIrwin69 1). The drone bug! This has been going on for ages now, and is bloody annoying. IS it really that difficult to stop NPC rats targetting drones for no good reason?!
If you are referring to the fact that when you use drones, inactive NPC groups close to them will aggro them, then it's not a bug, it's a feature.
And as a heavy drone user, level 4 mission runner I say leave it there. Missions are non-challenging enough as it is.
The solutiuon is to just be careful of what your drones do and how close inactive NPCs are. Hopefully they will sort the drone bugs about drones randomly attacking so that will not be so difficult to do. Just don't use the drones if they will end up operating within 30 km or so of inactive NPC.
If that's not whan you are talking about, please elaborate. ________________
