I'm curious, if you had to pick the most ugliest ship in game, that you would like to see redesigned, which would you choose?
This has nothing to do with ship bonuses, high, medium, low slots etc. Just pure model/texture design.
I, personally, would choose the Typhoon.

we've had a zillion of these threads.
Phoon model is awesome, texture could ude some touching up, no way this rates as the single most ugly ship of eve.
Ever seen some of the less popular gallente cruisers? the exequror or the celestis for example? or the scythe? fugly doesnt even begin to describe those.

Typhoon - No way, its t3h sexeh, and it just looks hard. Moa I agree with, but not he most ugly, which Id say was the Burst (come on everyone, looking at it is about as pleasing as looking up a horse's a-hole). Tbh I was suprised noone else said it first .

Would have to be the Moa or Osprey for me, or the Raven that looks like a duck.
I don't mind the Typhoon, I just think it looks like a giant fallen-over dustbin. I reckon they should swap the Mammoth and Typhoon models over, Typhoon looks like a hauler, Mammoth looks like a BS.

I wish the Brutix model was the battleship (obviously made a little bigger) and the domi model was downsized and made cruiser or scrapped and a new one made
for me Brutix is by far the sexiest ship in the game ^^

Most ships could be made more look-at-able by giving them new textures, but the above ones are beyond texuturing, they need alot of new polys and some extra something...

domi and rupture are two of the best looking ships in game.
domi with its huge bulk, and rupture - it looks like a sailship, hurray.
i found out that there are more people than me that think that domi, looking as it does, goes beyond ugly and achieves personality. few ships with personality in eve.
moa. raven. that is boring, lifeless ugly.

The Moa looks like someone shoved a Vulture's head and neck sideways into the side of a beaver.
Besides the fact that i think the Raven looks like a cross between a Pinapple and a Porcupine, i don't think it looks too bad.
Caracal looks pretty cool in my opinion.

while a fun ship to fly, the huginn is pretty awkward looking. excpecially w/ the fans flapping in the front and those contrails.
its funny the sublte differences between the rapier and the huginn is all the world of differenc between badarse looking (love that rapier) and just bu77 ugly

I used to fly a Brutix called "Satan's Chin". I considered the ship a combination of the Devil, Jay Leno and H.R.Geiger's Alien. It is the single sexiest ship in the game, IMHO of course. Thorax a close second.
Ugliest...? Not my Domis or my Exequereor (see the movie "Event Horizon" for strange deja vous experience) Raven looks like someone sat on a tarantula... hmmm..
Ugliest ship = Moa. It is the Duckbilled Platypus of Eve. Never before have I said "WFT is that $hit?" upon encountering a ship. I thought it was a wreck...and they hadn't even been INVENTED yet!!

yeah the Moa gets the top vote from me as the ugliest, the dominix ohh boy whaleboat, the tempest is rather unappealing.
best looking ships in my eyes are the Machariel and Megathron, especially the black megathron.

Raven! That thing looks like it was modelled in half a lunchbreak... No detail what so ever... Also it just screams "uninspirated" to me, no matter from what angle.
The fact that every second ship is a Raven doesn't help in that regard either... ;)
Prettiest ships: Thorax, Megathron, some Minmi-Ships too...

Osprey = It's so hideous I can't even think of anything else than some giger-ish mutant ninja bird / pony. It's scary.

1st: Raven - looks like a 4 ships banged together, who the hell would build a battleship with such a design, it should be pride of Caldari Navy, bringing fear to the enemy, not laugth.
2nd: Moa - looks like a cool ship after a few hundred crash landings, there is no air in space, but there is dust and particles, so a bit of aerodynamics won't hurt.
3rd: Osprey - man i want that stuff that this designer was smoking when making this model
Summary for CCP: Some models, there are more then this three, would like some remodeling or a brand new models, symetricity (probably wrote it bad) is not a bad thing don't be affraid of it, just look what cool ships you did using the symetricity in the revelations patch, keep it up, i don't say that every ship must be like the new ones, most of us like millenium falcon from star wars, but MOA ??? we wanna fly ships not trashcans :).

Each Race has its top three runts of the litter. The new ships though are rather stunning and very nice.
Amarr: #1: Crucifier (Spelling?) Its half an Exsicutioner glued to a Griffen. #2: Tormentor Yes its a Golden Armadillo. #3: Augoror Its a bunch of flat shapes on a brick.
Galantine (all but a lucky few but some take the cake.) #1: Exequror Look some one crashed a Klingon War Bird and gave it to EVE! #2: Dominix It does not even look like a ship. #3: Navitus Its just a fugly ship.
Minmatar (Many are ruggedly good looking but some are Absolutly UGLY.) #1: Scyth Its nothing but two mangled frigates held togather by tubes. #2: Ragnarok Call a strip of metal in space a Titan.... #3: Breacher More metal plates and tubes.
Caldari (They could be the best looking ship out there if they were SYMETRICAL) #1: Moa "Dev1: Look I made this pretty ship." "Dev2: Its a Caldari ship Right?" "Dev1: Yah..." "Dev2: Then lets do this *Sits on ship model.*" #2: Raven "Lets fuze a Duck to a Porcupine." #3: Griffen Look its bad leave it at that.

and a lot of the caladari ships could look pretty good if they were symmetrical. but thier demi-asymmetry makes them all look just . . . off. I mean ferox looks like someone sat and bent the wings on one side.

The chief Gallente ship builder had just watched that Red Dwarf episode where Lister has space plague and his head swells up and is full of nasty green puss on Holo Reel, then went out and immediately built the first Dominix.
Then the greatest Matari ship designer took a dump one day, looked down and ran down the street shouting "Eureka" as he'd designed the Typhoon.
The Caldari wonder twins who were seperated at birth and never met designed a battleship each for the Caldari Navy.
There was a huge mixup with the two competing plans for the new navy flagship, the Raven, and the two halves from each battleship design were welded together accidentally. Within the rigourous structure of the Caldari state, everyone was too scared to question it.
The Amarr? Well, who's ever flown an Amarr ship?

ugly...
1. the Typhoon - looks as good as a dustbin off an old sci-fi film, or even less good than that
2. Blackbird - random assortment of blocks which some 6 year old made whilst watching transormers
3. dominix... dunno what to say here, maybe a borg cube gone wrong.

In my opinion, Scythe and Burst are the ugliest ones, but considering they appear to be getting a redesign (with the graphics update), judging by the concept arts on Asgeir's page, which do look good, I'll ignore them.
Bellicose also appears to be getting an upgrade, as can be seen in one of the devblogs.
That leaves the Dominix. =/

Oh boy.
I first started playing Eve at release and the first ship my corpie Rix bought was a Blackbird. Looks like someone got stoned, played wing commander, and then decided to make a poor knockoff of the Kilrathi and failed miserably.
Second would be the Dominix. I'm fairly sure I just flushed a model of it down the toilet not 10 minutes ago. And the color scheme...come on CCP! Not only does it LOOK like a turd, but it's COLORED like one as well. I'm still not convinced that the Domi isn't a joke played by CCP on the playerbase (afterall, wasn't the first BS in space after release a Domi?).
Third is a three way tie between the Osprey, the Moa, and the Raven. "Powerhouse of the Caldari Navy" has a pagoda on the top of it, I mean, seriously. The Osprey? Looks like someone took a model spaceship, stuck it in the microwave for 5 minutes, then stomped on it and said "ta da!". And the Moa, that poor, poor ship. Whoever designed it needs to be slapped, and then droppped off at rehab.
Some of the ships look quite cool; the Amarr really benefit from cool looking ship (Malediction, Arbitrator, and Apocalypse). The Megathron just looks lethal. I always though that the Mammoth should have been made the Minitard tier 2 battleship, not a hauler. The Ishkur family all look cool as well.

Number one has to be the Moa - no redeeming features at all. Even if it was decent ship I would be too embarassed to be seen flying one.
Second would be the Maller - just what is witgh the nose, looks like a bad cartoon spaceship.
Raven is probably number three although but this stage it has tough competition, Exequeror, Scythe, all the gallaente and minmatar frigates (except rifter)

but the Blackbird is ugly-er
if you've never seen one please go ahead and look for yourself
its not so much a space ship as a random assortment of shapes
best looking ship is the minnie frighter..hands down

Raven and Moa, they look completely retarded and has no spirit or thought put into them. They both just radiate boredom which clearly indicates that the guy who modeled them was far from inspired when he sat down and did those two.
They should honestly remake those models because people actually fly those ships and vomit each time they do, compared to the scythe which nobody uses for more than a short while.
