A few months ago BNC and DICE decided to go and have some fun shooting ASCN in Paragon Soul and lower Feythabolis. We were purely looking for fun and so were ASCN by the looks of it. When we were first down there and had some fights I even received a evemail from CYVOK explaining how much fun ASCN were having and how much they respected DICE:

Although we didnÆt actually use TS spies in any of those fights it was still a welcome change to receive a respectful mail and respect was sort of mutual at that point. That held on until BOB decided to go all out on ASCN and we moved large fleets into their territory.
This respectful attitude then suddenly ended and turned 180 degrees. Many ASCN players have guessed at the reasons for BOB starting this war with ASCN. Among these guesses the most popular one was that DICE had been longing for Paragon Soul ever since itÆs creation. This feeling spread in ASCN like fire in an oilfield and soon they all pointed their hatred towards DICE. Our brothers in BOB saw this for what it was: a pitiful attempt at splitting DICE from BOB by spreading all out lies about my corporation. This resulted in a new nickname being awarded to DICE: BOB lite.
This new nickname, and the continual stream of lies and underrating of DICEÆs ability, pushed my corp into a frenzy. Not only would we get some kills on ASCN now, we would push this new nickname of ours down their throat. Mainly Darkstar1 thought they were a lot better then us, with remarks such as:

To darkstar1, you must have forgotten when DICE was ATUK and completely obliterated your asses in Impass when you were part of DDC. I have seen you and most of your corp exactly twice defending H8- and AZN. If you are so much better then us, then why arenÆt you kicking our asses? Oh right, youÆre full of ****, and we are coming directly for you and your corp after this is over.

Anyways, IÆm drifting here. We have now turned up the heat and are beating on your front door. BOB are in AZN, and your members continue to be disorganised and in desperate need of leadership. The current status of ASCN morale can best be described by some quotes from your members regarding the current situation in AZN:

ASCN leadership still think they are in control. They were explaining to their members that Kali would save them. But so far, we are in AZN, and you fail to take down even our lone POS in that system. Face it, Kali wonÆt save you. Ganking us in Delve wonÆt save you. Killing a few of our medium unarmed pos in Fountain wonÆt save you. Even pleading for mercy wonÆt save you. You are at a breaking point. And the only thing that can turn you away from the abyss is stepping up on every front, but your current leaders are still scared to put it all on the line (whereÆs steve?).
A prime example of this is the fact that ASCN has turned to frigate fleets in AZN after us arriving on Friday, it only took 2 days for you to not fight in BS fleets anymore. The latest of those frig fleets got blasted by Shrike and ended in roughly 45 frig/cruiser losses on your side. The total amount of kills our titan has achieved is 128, everytime from right in the same grid as your fleet. And CYVOK has only fired his titan once since weÆve seen it, from a pos, to quickly jump back to his capital array for safety.
Seriously ASCN, if this is your best, you are about to die.

Looking back this war was over before it started.
I hope alliances watching this, take note and learn what not to do in 0.0 space.

Yer, i already made a remark "since when is ascn poor" on vent today, seeing those friggies.
Its just crazy, a 4000 man alliance unable to win a single fight, ALL because of attitude. We have some carebear *****es also (widow, grim) but if we are shooting something, they are there in their most expensive ship (k, maybe with a salvager fitted)!
I doubt there is a chance left for ascn, i mean, if you cant get your members to give everything, your doomed.
Oh yeah, now you guys know how the people in Tribal Soul must have felt Leadership backstabbing, running off with everything while the members were left with a big question mark, all because of egocentric idiots. Deja Vu eh?

Which corps that are currently in feyth etc are "worthy" of bobs respect and would be allowed to form a new alliance to break off from ascn and be allowed to continue living down south?
I suspect that will be one of the next steps, approach corps a/b/c "you guys rock, worthy of respect, props 11@@!! leave ascn and you can live down here and say you won!"
Whole thing is definately looking alot like the 5/xf war, but with far bigger and much cooler ships this time.

It was built up as "clash of the titans" sadly its been one sided and dull. ASCN seem like the perfect slave corp to have if you are a PVP alliance they build they mine and they run for the hills when the going gets tough.
DS1 have allways been egotistical asshats they fit right in bob
