Its just a light hearted commentary to accompany a fantastic tournament. Let's make a list of people that EVETV have "slandered". - ASCN, with their boring and innefective turtle tank - BOB, not following up on Goonswarm and are cheating with two boring teams - MC, for one out of three combat worthy setups - IAC, most importantly Tyrrax and his match fixing and blatant cheating - Warp Core Stabbed clowns Terra Incognita and their GRIEF TACTICS - Morsus Mihi, for being fabulous roleplayers - Larping Cavil, for being an even more fantastic roleplayer - CCK for being successfully ransomed by the above - Tank CEO for living on past glories and not fitting rails on a rail boat - AAA for their love of complexes and CTRL Q - Andrew Gunn aka "junior" - spiralJunkie aka "Charlie Brown" ... The list goes on. Anyone who thinks they have something to really complain about - seriously, we are poking fun at everyone. Its nothing personal and shouldnt be taken that way. This is supposed to be entertaining and fun - just because your alliance has a few jokes made at its expense, thats what we are here for. The tournament results are really what speaks for your alliance. Be aware that we're providing a free service manned mostly by volunteers from the game. No other game does this, there's simply nothing similar that exists. If you feel the need to post some negativity, hold one for a minute, and see if there's a way you can hold that diss and maybe show some love. _ Eeeeeeeeeeh, I don't think Titans are particularly Cost Effective - Goonswarm

There is nothing we can do to you, since you hide who you are in game, and we cant be bothered to track you down. But your comments being light hearted is a total farce. Just yesterday one of you said "why would anyone hire these guys if they come out with setups like this" being aimed at MC. I dont see this as a joke or a witty remark, its slander and ignorant slander at best. Take my coments as light heartedly as you want, but they are still fact.

A lot of the time after a match "most" have no clue whats going on and then leads to speculation then ranting on about other alliances. First off, your commentators are extremely boring so I turn it off when they speak. Theres no action like there should be example: "Show-man-ship" - To draw a crowd make your speaker more enjoyable to draw the crown. And why shouldnt we take the comments "Seriously?" I mean thousands of people watch that and these alliances are offering a show to promote Eve. To make it better and how does the game community look if the leaders of these mega alliances just smack about them in the commentaries? Ridiculous! Either or lets just play eve :P

I found all the remarks humorous, even the ones about Serenus Letum, my corp's then-alliance. I really enjoyed the broadcasts, can't wait for next week. Sadly, I'll be getting my edumacation and learning me some books on Friday. If you're on IE, pretend this is transparent while you get a better browser.

Me, Jamesw, Farjung and Andrew Gunn. Personally I spend most of my time in Syndicate with the rest of my corp, Jamesw lives in the north, Farjung is in BOB so head south. Andrew Gunn is in Maelstrom and I'm sure you can find out where he is with a location agent. If you feel that you must give some ingame recriminations for what we say then sure, hunt us down, otherwise stop saying your opinions are "facts". You take what is offered. And that must sometimes be enough.

Just keep in mind that there is a vast number of people out there that are quite happy with what you're doing, they're just not as vocal about it. Kudos for putting on a grand show, and for expressing your views on what you've seen in the way you're doing it. It propebly won;t affect them in Any way, because MC as far as I am concerned have a chain of work available for them due to their reputation. but whats upsetting is that on of you made that comment in the first place.

I've spent a lot of time talking to you, Xyl, Hinik and Xod about it. I want to see it evolve beyond something that is just done for the Tournament into an actual entity that could report real news on a weekly basis. I'd like to see EVE TV become much greater than it is. Right now, however, I'm having trouble trying to figure out exactly what you're aiming for. Neutral commentary / reporting? Just pure comedy? Something in between? You see, I've heard you guys talk about what you want to do and where you want to go in person. It's inspiring stuff. What is not inspiring is watching the panel and hearing the commentators sometimes just go off on a random tangent about one person or alliance due to what they perceive as a mistake or boring, etc... Even with I disagree with Ifni, he tends to present himself well and tries to back up his points with measured responses. Trev has been a great surprise and I really enjoy listening to him. My point is that it's great to have a quick jibe here and there. I enjoy the humor as much as anyone, even when it's aimed at me and my alliance. Xod is great at this. He's not always 100% right in his observations (and I don't think it's possible for anyone to be anyway), but every time I hear him make a jab or a comment, it doesn't come across as a pure flaming napalm bomb. While some don't care to look beyond who won or lost, I think the matches themselves are the story. There are alliances in this tournament who might not win a single match but are worthy of note and admiration for the effort they put in and tactics they attempted. Just because you lost should not make you an instant object for jokes and ridicule, nor should winning be an instant ticket to praise and glory. The exchange between GoGo and Ifni in this thread is fantastic and also sums up a log of my feelings as well. We all appreciate the work you guys (and girl) are putting into this. You've been given a great gift and opportunity by CCP. Don't squander it for a few cheap laughs. As the 'Host' of this entire project I would think you would appreciate the entertainment factor of everyone here. And for the people that haven't heard of an alliance, and you guys start saying they cheat/are boring etc. Most people aregoing to assume that's what they are like. Just by saying a few words, you guys on EVETV can make or break the reputation of an alliance. You slagged RAZOR rotten (and they deserved it), but RAZOR are awesome fighters on tranq, and most people will hear what you guys say and assume the whole RAZOR alliance is full of Nubbins'.
