Corporation owned DED sites and a reason for wars in High sec
when I first joined eve I thought we could own DED sites well yea... So here is my idea
To Find them and stake clam
one corporation can own one ded site
There is a Life time on the site, space fluctuation become stable after 3 days to 20 days and you need to find a new site.
I thought of this for mostly For high sec crops for a reason to undock when war dec so if there null sec or low ideas have at it.
You must Probe them out then you need to buy a beacon form a Lp store for 20,000 lp and a acceleration gate assembly array Form the concord lp store
The acceleration gate takes 32 hours to construct, why 32 hours its all about making content say another Corporation found it and wants it well a war dec takes 24 hours now you got an 8 hour window to fight. You can take it down but it will take 24 hours.
Whats in them? Access Control
Well Say some random person probes out your DED site and wants to pop in and take a look, or mabye he is some Pirate crop looking for easy pray, well he can but he will become suspect when entering, so if you don't want him there by all means remove him.
But what is in them, Ah that is the main question every one wants to know Almost every one had seen or ben in a DED site For missions Anomaly and it has all kinds of things Well the catch is you wont know what is in it till you have built an acceleration gate and jumped in but I was thinking 3 things.
Mining colony this has a rather large supply of hard to find ore and it regenerates after Dt till the DED space fluctuation become stable. The Mining colony Also is loot able every 12 hours any one can get ore or minerals form it, got to have a reason to fight right.
Laboratory, this one is a little tricky but space pirates have them why cant we? What it does I want to think something is the only way to get materials to make implants.
Ruin Station, the Local pirates want the station so every few hours there will be 6 waves, it will send out a Corp email saying something like GÇ£Your DED site is under assault by Angle PiratesGÇ¥ no more than a total of 15m in bounty when the DED site space fluctuation is going to become stable the last wave has a Commander rat and the site colapses.
Keep in mind This was just intended for high sec in mind. Sure you can think of a way for low and null but trying to wrap my head around the ideas of fitting it in with sov and the link makes my head warped. Maybe something like this will be introduced with the new structures that are coming out like the Drilling platforms there will be something like this but I have a feeling its gona be for null |

No player or player corp can own an area of space in high sec, that was done for a reason why should we change it now?
Current high sec aggression mechanics make this a worthless idea, he who shoots first gets the Concord visit, unless there is a war dec, kill rights or a criminal flag involved how do you propose to get around these problems?
Without getting the nul sec crowd all up in arms and screaming about ISK faucets and related issues or breaking some other portion of the high sec balance of things what are you going to add as the benefit to controlling one of these DeD sites?
If you want to control space and the things that are located in it go to nul with friends and claim sov, or go to low and claim and control an area of space through violence.

Well, player corp can own assets in hisec space, it's just ships and POS currently though.
Once there is more stuff to put in space that only player corp can own, and it's worth owning, there would be no problem you're alluding to.

Everyone inside should go suspect, even the owners. Or the rules of hi-sec should just not apply. The mechanics of hi-sec would make any fight in there massively one sided for the defenders unless everyone is shootable from the start.
Id change the concept slightly as well. The type of sites would already be determined when you scan them down. They'd essentially be long lasting sigs that require deployables to activate.
Mining sites would contain a massive asteroid that requires a drilling platform of some size to break up into mineable rocks. Science sites would be an archeological site or a relic that require a structure to generate containers to hack A combat site would be a pirate base that requires small admin platform that then spawns occasional accel gates to combat sites.

Tl;Dr highsec you can own, free minerals, free bounty after deploying sentry drones, and anyone that looks at your hole is shootable.
Unsupported, I feel that article 7 of the antarctic treaty system describes highsec properly: " ...observers have free access, including aerial observation, to any area and may inspect all stations, installations, and equipment; advance notice of all activities and of the introduction of military personnel must be given."

in a game where you cant even get the dullards in nullsec to commit to war what exactly leads you to believe war mechanic averse highsec is going to go to war over anything that isnt completely unbalanced ISK wise in highsec?
not supported.
Yawn,-á I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.

If you need a "reason" to start a war, you're in the wrong place.
EvE is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.
I couldn't have said it better.
Will troll for a t-shirt.
