Some people pirate and work for it, others infiltrate enemy corps and alliances and raise hell for a cause. He got ****ed and showed his true colors. Somehow I can't feel sympathetic with a carebear who flown his own carrier in PS, has 3 EVE accounts and stabbed his fellow corpmates in the back. I am however sad, that someday, one of this stories will end very badly, when this bad blood spills into real life and ends in tragedy. Then authorities will have to legislate and ruin a game that I enjoy playing. By condoning this course of action, CCP is playing with fire.

Instead of just dealing with them, he hurt the entire alliance. Personally I would do anything for my corp and alliance mates. If I was in SOLST and saw that he was mad about being gouged, I would have talked to HC or even given the theif money to help pay for stuff because I like to help people out. Its so much more fun for me to take care of my friends then have lots of isk. The saddest part is that I know for a fact that there are many people like me in AXE that he just stabbed in the back for no reason and thats the real tragedy about this event

Hey yeah there are times i"m not online alot, but we do have a corp BBOard, you do have Evemail if you have an issue with the way things are in the corp. -Say something about it!- Not many people do even then. And I certainly do my best to try to make sure everyone is treated evenly. And at one point he claims it was a 'heat of the moment' thing, the other he says he planned it out for two weeks ahead of time. Now if it was 'really' a sort of robin hood type deal where he looted crap then gave a ton to all the other hardworking members I -might- give him a tiny degree of respect. Its unfortunate that this greedy person got away with this, but my sadness isn't as strong since SOLST ripped off alliance mates :/ 300mil for a Rohk? NOQ (which doesn't have anywhere near the income SOLST does) is already providing them for corp members for free. Not to mention our corp wallet is a fraction of yours. Ripping off alliance mates is unacceptable no matter what. How much money does your corp make from moon mining? How many billions a month? You can't sell BSes at cost to alliance mates? Somethings wrong there...and if my memory is right there were other price gouging problems too :/ SOLST you're a good corp with some not so nice practices, I hope you guys learned something from this as corp thiefts are NEVER good no matter who it happens to. I'll let members defend the corp management if they want to, but some facts people may want to consider: We borrowed isk from corp members to afford the new bpos, we wanted to pay them back as soon as possible. We had limited minerals to build them with, and couldn't have built everyone a rokh for a few weeks. The hangers he had access to were explicitly for him to get fuel from to keep his carrier running etc. Two of the hangers he looted contained cruisers, frigs and mods free to all members. We replace battleships lost during combat ops in wartime for insurance payout minus insurance cost. ie. free We made a mistake... Lacero Finance Director Solar Storm and glorified *******

I never did any of the stuff he claims, I had already sold a rohk and two drakes for minerals cost! Yes 4 day old BPO for mineral cost, we are 40 jumps out into 0.0, so how many corps are doing that in empire right now? He is just posturing in an attempt to gain some sympathy for acting like a sociopath and deviant. Also someone who claims to have problems with HC as a manager within the corp he had a responsibility to bring it up to HC, and work through it, he made no attempts to contact me or any other dir. more lies. He is just a lier and a thief, if Solar Storm had the issues he claims we would be fracturing but we are not we are drawing even tighter by the day. He planned this for days or weeks, lied to Solar storm for months and executed a planned heist. All he accomplished is to reforge, refocus, and anger the membership of the corp. Hulks, can be replaced, minerals, can be mined. Our people are what make us great. guess he didn't measure up. Now for the funny part. He was a SOLST manager. Not High command cause he missed about 10b worth of bpo's and about 7b worth of T2 and capships, and about 10b worth of POS gear. guess you did not know as much as you thought huh? his true character now shows through. I will reiterate the important points. Axe is strong. Solar Storm is already on the road to recovery. You will be hunted. Just lame excuses for not being up to scratch himself. Corp theft is just the lowest thing you can do in EVE, its basically f**** over people that trust you. Which is the lamest and worst thing you can do, both in game and in RL. But atleast in RL you can f* someone back!

The guy who pulled this off got really **ed and really greedy and did what I believe to be a beautiful job of looting a very dumb corp that gave a "deranged individual" 6 corp hanger access rights and permision to access POS systems. He's lying when he says he's doing it for the beterment of the corp. You've got the corp lying throught its teeth towing the party line and saying oh this didn't hurt us at all. Anyone who has ever run a corporation knows two things here: 1) That hurt like a kick to the nuts and also hurt the alliance because one corp now either has nothing left to keep up its war efforts and must divert thier own reserves towards helping them, or the corp itself must pull back from warfare and rebuild. 2) The majority of the members posting here are people who are 'allowed' to post here, and are only doing so to tow the party line. His true character? Are you talking about his character, or his avatar's character? What is the point of whining that he lied? That was the point! This here is a role-playing game, and Kalgan played his part brilliantly. I think anybody watching has to congratulate him. Chastising him for stealing all that stuff is like condemning Johnny Damon for stealing second base! I mean, if you were a professional boxer, would you announce how your opponent was a sociopath or a deviant because he punched you repeatedly during the match? And we all know you made way more than one mistake. This is a competitive, multi-player game. Piracy and theft are built into the game. You aren't supposed to trust anyone. Especially not with the keys to your space stations. It doesn't matter why he did it- you were a fool for giving him a chance! You can talk about hunting him down all you want- how exactly do you do that? He transfers the money to a new character, or sells it for cash, and starts anew. Heck, maybe he'll just decide to quit playing EVE now that he's pretty much beaten the game. No really, what are you going to do, pod him? Of course, it is possible that that rant of yours is 'in-character'. I suppose that would make more sense- but If you are going to roleplay the leader of a powerful space-company you would come across better without all the immature sounding bitterness. Maybe a vow to have his family sent to be slaves on a desolate moon, or a promise to keel-haul him through an asteroid belt. Or perhaps just a congratulations for a heist well done.
