I've had this dream a couple times now. I log into the game and find myself in a system somewhere deep in nullsec with nothing but a blinged out mission battleship. Highsec is something like 30 jumps away and I'm pulling every trick I can to try to get home. No matter how many gates I jump through, though, I never seem to get any closer to home.
I know that there are certain motifs that all dreamers experience at some point: like flying, or being chased. I'm curious if there are any EVE-specific twists on these motifs.
Have you experienced a similar dream? Do you have other EVE-related dreams to share? I think it would be interesting to see if -- as a group -- these share some common thread. |

In my most frequent EVE related dream I am engaging a Punisher inside a FW plex, generally in an Incursus or other active tanked frigate. The dream never progresses anywhere and I am left shooting at the overtanked Punisher for hours on end.

Ive had lots of Eve related dreams tbh.
Ive died horribly, been chased, killed and even hot dropped in one of my last ones. No real common thread I think its just stuff subconsciously as it relates to Eve cuz we spend time here. Though Id be curious to see if anyones had an Eve related sex dream. Itll eventually happen Im sure.
Strength isnt measured in numbers but in force of will. For if one motived willful individual stands many will fall around him that are weak.

No but had 2 weird dreams lately.
1st was eating a pizza which had mayo on, I hate mayo even the smell of it.
2nd had 2 small black scorpions on my forearm, killed one then another respawned on my arm to take the place of the dead one after a short while.
But nothing EVE related unless EVE has pizza. I guess the scorpions at a stretch could represent Caldari. |

I once had one of those dreams where you cant do anything, my dramiel was filling up with fuel at my local petrol station and people were hitting it with sticks and breaking it, i couldnt do anything because i was in the kiosk paying and the door was locked. i woke up after that.

The only thing I remember is I was logi. It's also hilarious when corp members are in your dreams, and you tell them about it.
Dun'Gal > Hal is simply an imperfect ai, though if drunkeness ever gets programmed into ai's I foresee both a hilarious and tragic end to humanity.

I was watching once alliance presentation during fanfest and there was a Mittani guy and all the rest.
A few days after I got a dream where one of those alli leaders prob Mittani got a BD and they had a party with big BDCake colored like a null sec sov map and these guys did throw that cake away right through the window.... my last thought before I wake up was - what a silly idiots, that might be very tasty cake.

Nope, never, not about EVE. I've had digital dreams though, even in wire frame mode like in my 3d modelling app, a number of times, weird. I made an indie game from a dream once, where I was a bear in a 3d low-poly forest fighting other animals (the other faction were lions), though that was almost a decade ago. I drempt about scenes from MUD's, but at the time where I was actually working on MUD's, long ago. I think for me, to dream about games, I need to be participating in development somehow. More about creative aspect, day-dreaming about ideas a lot, then that gets drawn into dreams from the creative part of the brain I may use a lot at the time.

It's release day, and I realize there's an essential task, weeks of work, that I have TOTALLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT and I have like 15 minutes to do it before everyone realizes and the release gets canceled.
Then I wake up, and it's four in the morning with sunlight streaming in through the window. Just another summer day in Iceland.

I did spend days at a time playing, but must have been playing it in my sleep too, the wife used to dig me in the sides and tell me to finish my mission and dock because she was up early for work

I had these vivid dreams about waking up in the middle of the night, remembering i forgotten to set a new skill and rushing to my PC to set one.

It happens sometimes...
The last one, I was in a Charon in the middle of red null-sec and an Interceptor found me and tried to give me a point... but hopefully there was an high TIDI on the area at this moment, so I warped out all the time and trolled the Inty until I woke up.
I have sometimes EVE elements in standard dreams, like an overview on the windscreen of a car I drove one time or stuff like that. |

My reoccurring EVE dream is one where I log myself in, and instead of being in station in the last ship I knew I flew, I'm logging into space with a titan (Typically an Erebus). The cloak is available, but the problem is that I have no possible way of Warping to a location; Every warp command in game is missing. People are in system, and the only way for me to get out is by Jumping to cynos belonging to other people; some of who I know and others I don't.
What does this say about me? |

I'm sure we've all had the pos is running out of fuel one, you got a ping it's getting shot and you wake up in a sweat and just have to log in to make sure there's no fuel issues lol even though ya never let fuel levels drop ever!
also had the can't find the WH exit, you book marked it, but for some reason in the dream you have hundreds of bookmarks all named EXIT! lol you warp to all of them but there is no WH at any or them. |

I have had a few dreams usually flying through space or exploring wormholes like when I spent 9 months living in one. Currently I am living in nullsec so when I dream it tends to follow along there. the most recent one was of a hot dropper attacking my friend and my frantic attempt to get to them. It was an awesome fight kinda wish I Was that good a pvp pilot in game as I was in that dream LOL! hell I have even had a mining dream and yes it is just as ******* boring in the dream as it is at times in game. |

Around 2007 I still lived at home with my folks, we were victims of some freak flooding in the UK and ended up in 40ft static caravan while the house was renovated and I took to sleeping in a sleeping bag on the fold out bed in the main living area.
A number of times when I woke up I would find my parents sat having breakfast / reading the newspaper and they would quiz me about what certain things meant that I was rambling on about in my sleep. Among them:
Grab that megathron, torch him.
Burn that prophecy down.
FFS someone get a point on that *****
Everyone align E-O, take warp, jump on contact, hold cloak.
Target calling, primaries, secondary, giving instructions to ewar, logi
And many others.
It would appear that I was FC'ing in my sleep. And using peoples names / systems that appear in game.
I don't remember having them, I don't know what happened in them or if we won the fight. But from the description my parents gave it sounded epic! :)

I had a dream my Archon logged into 30 enemy titans, but I was able to jump out before anything could tackle me.
I think I had this dream because I was offline for a few days during a major retreat. I logged off my Archon at a friendly POS, then when I logged in there was nothing but the stick. and 200+ reds in system. I quickly made a cyno and jumped the hell out. |

Back in like, 2006... I had a super graphic dream about being podkilled and there being a delay between capsule breach and the burn scanner triggering.
I remember the capsule bursting open, deep cold, and watching the fluid freeze and disperse around me, then before my corneas froze over, a piece of the hull of the pod hit my arm, and it shattered like glass and lots of little pink and red pieces kinda spiraled off into space.
One of those dreams that just sticks with you. I woke up with a cold sweat, and was like "holy ****!"

I dreamt about Eve tonight actually. Yesterday I was thinking about the drifter incursions and how they can be done best with the DD they got.
What I dreamt was that the DD from the incursion drifters actually did just 4300 volley damage (dont know where that number came from :D) and thats it.
Everybody was surprised. Sooo everybody started doing drifter incursions and everybody got rich. Happy End dream. Then I woke up and realized I just dreamt about Eve Online and started to rethink my life.
Then I remembered that I dont have a life.
Then I was sad.
Then I ate pizza and got happy.
Now Im here.

I logged in and noticed that CCP changed shaders in the game, every ship looked like potato.
Then I undocked and flied between planets, they were so near each other that you could fly outside warp between them in a few seconds.
One of the planets had continents that looked similar to earth continents. Looked very, very similar to earth.
But I noticed there is no australia and a lot of islands are missing.
"Global warming is a thing it seems" I thought.

Had a dream where I was playing EVE one night, naked, and my wife kept trying to get my attention, I just kept shrugging her off. She got frustrated with me and had an idea, she got in front of me on her hands and knees looked up at me, opened her mouth and started to crow like a rooster.
After crowing once or twice I woke up and turned my alarm off, which happened to be an alarm which sounded like a rooster.
