I've had this dream a couple times now. I log into the game and find myself in a system somewhere deep in nullsec with nothing but a blinged out mission battleship. Highsec is something like 30 jumps away and I'm pulling every trick I can to try to get home. No matter how many gates I jump through, though, I never seem to get any closer to home.
I know that there are certain motifs that all dreamers experience at some point: like flying, or being chased. I'm curious if there are any EVE-specific twists on these motifs.
Have you experienced a similar dream? Do you have other EVE-related dreams to share? I think it would be interesting to see if -- as a group -- these share some common thread. |

In my most frequent EVE related dream I am engaging a Punisher inside a FW plex, generally in an Incursus or other active tanked frigate. The dream never progresses anywhere and I am left shooting at the overtanked Punisher for hours on end.
It is a nightmare. |

Ive had lots of Eve related dreams tbh.
Ive died horribly, been chased, killed and even hot dropped in one of my last ones. No real common thread I think its just stuff subconsciously as it relates to Eve cuz we spend time here. Though Id be curious to see if anyones had an Eve related sex dream. Itll eventually happen Im sure.
Strength isnt measured in numbers but in force of will. For if one motived willful individual stands many will fall around him that are weak.

No but had 2 weird dreams lately.
1st was eating a pizza which had mayo on, I hate mayo even the smell of it.
2nd had 2 small black scorpions on my forearm, killed one then another respawned on my arm to take the place of the dead one after a short while.
But nothing EVE related unless EVE has pizza. I guess the scorpions at a stretch could represent Caldari. |

I once had one of those dreams where you cant do anything, my dramiel was filling up with fuel at my local petrol station and people were hitting it with sticks and breaking it, i couldnt do anything because i was in the kiosk paying and the door was locked. i woke up after that.

I had an eve dream I just can't remember what it was really like.
The only thing I remember is I was logi. It's also hilarious when corp members are in your dreams, and you tell them about it.
Dun'Gal > Hal is simply an imperfect ai, though if drunkeness ever gets programmed into ai's I foresee both a hilarious and tragic end to humanity.

I was watching once alliance presentation during fanfest and there was a Mittani guy and all the rest.
A few days after I got a dream where one of those alli leaders prob Mittani got a BD and they had a party with big BDCake colored like a null sec sov map and these guys did throw that cake away right through the window.... my last thought before I wake up was - what a silly idiots, that might be very tasty cake.

Nope, never, not about EVE. I've had digital dreams though, even in wire frame mode like in my 3d modelling app, a number of times, weird. I made an indie game from a dream once, where I was a bear in a 3d low-poly forest fighting other animals (the other faction were lions), though that was almost a decade ago. I drempt about scenes from MUD's, but at the time where I was actually working on MUD's, long ago. I think for me, to dream about games, I need to be participating in development somehow. More about creative aspect, day-dreaming about ideas a lot, then that gets drawn into dreams from the creative part of the brain I may use a lot at the time.

Sometimes I dream about EVE.
It's release day, and I realize there's an essential task, weeks of work, that I have TOTALLY FORGOTTEN ABOUT and I have like 15 minutes to do it before everyone realizes and the release gets canceled.
Then I wake up, and it's four in the morning with sunlight streaming in through the window. Just another summer day in Iceland.

I used to have dreams about EVE, I used to be obsessed with the game and talk to people about, they must have thought I needed help. 
I did spend days at a time playing, but must have been playing it in my sleep too, the wife used to dig me in the sides and tell me to finish my mission and dock because she was up early for work

I think i stopped dreaming about eve some 5 years ago...
I had these vivid dreams about waking up in the middle of the night, remembering i forgotten to set a new skill and rushing to my PC to set one.
Only to realize the next morning it wasn't a dream and i HAD woken up in the middle of the night to set a new skill!!!  |
