Titans don't win wars.
Simply enough, while this is an amazing blow to ASCN it should not decide their war effort. Its not like they were really using the sucker that much anyways.
However, this is an unsuprising result of the mediocrity that has been ASCN's war effort and military leadership to date.
Lesson to be learned, they should spend that kind of ISK on a battleship replacement program, and take advantage of their superior numbers to massively spam battleships. Fight as if they had something to fight for on their own terms and use the advantages they do have.
Might be too late for that, but we will see. At least if they go down, they should make a damn good fight of it.
Oh, and on an amusing note - that thing can't dock, so that means it was completely uninsured, doesn't it

Well done, I guess, you managed to kill some offlined POS yesterday and now you killed a ship from someone that ctd.
Truly you are the New Gods of EvE.
I feel bad for Cyvok but it was not his fault, **** happens.
Nothing lasts forever, the first freighter was destroyed, the first carrier, the first of everything. It would be impressive if you had destroyed it in battle but this is just meh.

how would they have been able to kill it in battle if cyvokk never takes it into battle apart from the occasional dd launched from just outside a pos?

Even if they get the titan back, the morale hit that ASCN just took must be breathtaking.
