Doing it in poor taste the way he did does not make it right.
And just like with any reporter who acts in such a way, he's likely going to feel backlash from how he acted.
But enough talk about junk, the point is one of the major players/leaders in EVE is leaving, and I don't imagine BoB is going to give them a few days to get sorted out.

Spiral is not just a TV presenter, he's CCP's mouthpiece and part of their staff. He's no reporter either, unless you think hosting idle chitchat between tournament matches is tantamount to anything resembling investigative journalism.
Spiral posting this is the equivalent of Kieron or Oveur doing it. It is shameful to say the least, and an absolutely dispicable way to treat someone who has invested the amount of time CYVOK has into EVE. It did nothing more than to confirm his reasons for leaving.
You're just making a fool out of yourself for defending him. Stop it.

While I have read many of the ASCN vs BoB threads I have never commented as I play no role and therefore my opinion doesn't matter.
But I will say good luck Cyvok in your future endeavours. Regardless of the circumstances of the parting the fact is that you have helped to shape the history of EvE.
And BOO to SpiralJunkie. It was obvious from your first quickly editted post that you did not intend to post with your EvE-TV character. Frankly that raises even more questions but I won't air them here.
In times of doubt I ask myself "What would BoB do?", and then do the opposite. |

As much as I might have poked fun at Cyvok, he was in fact a good guy. He wanted what was best for ASCN and tried his hardest to keep the morale high, even if lying was needed (look at history, same thing happened then).
Sorry to see you go Cyvok! You will be remembered for a long time by the EvE community, as the person who tried.
