yeah the exchange rate is awesome for peeps in the UK right now 
Unbelieveable how cheap this christmas has been all thanks to ebay, amazon and various other online stores in the US muahahah
oh and the most important part is how much more clothes i can buy

Although a few years back when the Euro was worth 0.88 American Dollar I was loving my 3 week vacation overseas..
so I guess in my case its all good.
And if GTC are cheaper to buy now. sell the darn things for less isk so I can buy em:)

yep i just switched both my chars to game time cards thou shatteredcrystal seam a bit wired to me i ended up having ot order 3 times and have the first two canceled so that they could ring me in the uk for some reason they coudl jsut not ring my house phone, in the end they had to ring my mobile.
I am sure that prob wipped out any profit they made, was very weired.

When the UK has a huge trade defecit with the US because of the currency translation it is because America sucks?

Yeah I'm feeling sad about being an Amercian in the UK when it comes to the exchange rate. Of course many things in the UK end up being cheaper even with the Xchange rate doubling in the price. Beer! A pint in the UK is 19.2oz verses 12-16 US beers with an extra 1-2.5% alcohol in it. Most pubs sell beers somewhere in the neighboorhood of 1-2L, about $2-4 US verse $3-7 per beer at a bar in the states. So you get a higher percentage with a greater amount, for less money.
That makes for a very Merry Christmas.
Of course I laugh all the way to the bank when I see how much everything else in this country costs. Liquor, petrol, homes, electronics, movies, clothes. OUCH!! All those things are 4-5x as much!!

UK peeps Christmas shopping in the US is good for us. I'd rather see the Dollar stay slightly lower than the Euro for years to come!
Just don't go vacation in Europe, go somewhere where the Dollar will take you farther!

The United States is the single largest producer AND consumer in the world. UK's economy isn't even the largest in Europe. Exchange rates of currencies only partially reflect the economies of their respective countries. Post with your main :D

I usually do ignore it. I just sort of expect more from the EvE playerbase then most... I guess. Yeah, dollar = cheap is awesome. Maybe we can get an Airbus HQ set up in the states since it is so much cheaper to higher proffessionals here who are at the same or higher standard then their counerparts in Europe :D
