lo all
i just want to inform you guys that ASCN isent as honereble as there alianse or any of the corp discription is saying
i got scammed for 700 mil by a ACSN member of the eve defence forse corp named KIRADORN
i knmow it must sux to loose a titan but you guys realy think this is gonna bring back a new 1
anyways iam very disapointed in this alianse and members who claim they are honereble
so peeps be carefull cus it looks like ASCN is not so honereble anymore

OMG, this one time I was docked in a station and chosen2 from CAS Technologies and Logistics scammed me out of 3 ISK in a rigged game of Two Toed Pete..
On a more serious note:
-HOW did he scam you?
-HOW do you know it was supported/ordered by his corp/alliance?
-HOW do you know the ISK was going to be put towards another Titan?
Until you can answer those questions I'll have the number of the closest WAAAAAHmbulance handy for you..

One guy scamming you doesn't mean the whole of the alliance are scammers. Also, screenies or it didn't happen.

I've almost been scammed by an ASCN pilot today too. I won't mention names on the forum because thats just flame bait, however if anyone in ACSN feel like sorting out this mess, drop me an eve-mail.
Anyway, I got in touch with an ASCN pilot via the ship and mod channel in-game. I was looking for a Caldari Navy Raven. The pilot who contacted me wanted to set up a contract for a CNR, using free form for some 880 mill. However he just pasted the CNR info into the contract instead of the ship itself. The contract looked genuine at first glance, but I quickly understood that it was a scam attempt.

and like the guy above stated he dit it to me the same way and as many of us (i think)
the new escrow thinmg is stil a bit messy
and plz dont lecture me how to spell etc cus i bet most of the eve players cant type dutch :)

That screenshot does not prove anything except that you fail to fulfill a contract that you decided to take. If you were scammed though it was your own fault due to the fact you didn't take notice of the contract. Scamming is a part of eve.

last night a ASCN guy tryd to scam one of the guys in one channel i sit.... CNR in freeform for 300mil... think he made a post somewhere whit picis.. but i cba to search

Still seems kind of a stretch to reference the Titan loss *AND* slam an entire alliance over the actions of *1* person..

That's exactly why I never even look at Freeform contracts or even bother with "too good to be true" sales.

PS: If you had researched it..... Freeform doesn't even support Item Transfer. lmmfao. I think before I spent 700mil I would check out a new system I'm not familiar with before dropping that kind of cash.

NEVER use Freeform contracts! 
Item Exchange Contracts exist for a reason. You weren't scammed. This was 100% preventable. This is just the same as the old "1 unit of trit called an Apoc" escrows.
You just either didn't pay attention or didn't bother to learn how Contracts work. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle!

Sure its a scam which is easy to spot, but the fact here is that a member of the biggest alliance in the game is scamming. Does ascn allow scamming or will he be kicked?

I fell for the freeform contract scam as well....silly looking back at it.
But this is much easier to hide what is happening then with escrow. with escrow a right click-> show items told you everything. Now they can place links, rename those links, fake the title, and use contract types that are not clear on their purpose. Added to this all the press release about how contracts would be more scam proof, and the lack of in game tutorials or instructions, and you got a recipe for disaster for those of us who havent yet setup contracts, and havent used them to buy anything yet.
in short freeform = scam. we just need to get the word out.

CCP has really tried to protect people with the new Contract system. There is only one form of contract where you can be cheated. If you find a FF contract that's "To Good to be True". It probablity is..
