No no no no no bloody no Not to single you out or anything, but this is exactly why CCP can't involve themselves in something so politically charged, and it's why we can't have a discussion about this here. This is a gaming forum, and political debates like this just wind people up. You have very good reasons for your comments, but they will upset people who are already upset over watching that refugee crisis unfold.
if we cant talk about it with our most intellectual internet friends where can we talk about it ?
This isn't going to go away. WE cant just bury our heads in the sand. I am fairly certain a good portion of the most intelligent people in the world play eve. I think this is one of the best places to discuss the matter. |

View the abstaining votes and speeches of certain Security Council states in the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973, for more elucidation as to why the international community was politically unable to further involve itself in the Syrian issue in support of the revolt vs the al-Assad autocracy (before ISIS altogether).
The Arab Spring managed to sweep the north african coast of autocratic rulers that had ruled for generations, but Syria came too late in the chain, and the West could not interfere in the Syrian Revolt, though the rebels dearly needed it and hoped for it.
The West failed them in their attempt for freedom. And hence the situation is worse than ever, al-Assad still rules, and ISIS is now at the borders of a fractured nation.
America effectivly rendered the United nations null and void by undermining their requests not to intervene in the middle east.
America took matters into thier own hands and dismantled Several Middle eastern states including, most notably, Iraq and Libya.
United nations no longer has power to act as a force in the world and i beleive this is the key reason Russia is so pissed with the Americans.
Un being the main peace keeping force after the League of nations(ww1)
The short end of it is that Your statement is irrelevent and mis informed(tho bettr typed out than my own) |

View the abstaining votes and speeches of certain Security Council states in the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973, which was put forward so as to save civilian lives from imminent and anticipated genocide by Gaddafi. Much the same as Bashar al-Assad has also committed genocide on his own population, in the absence of intervention. Come back when you know which members of the UN intervened in Libya, and which abstained from the decision altogether, and why.
Assad commited no genocide on his own people. The Sarin gas attacks were purpotradted by non government aligned insurgents probably funded by the USA.
The USA France and GB conducted the Vast majority of the air raids on Libya. But whilst they are members of the UN they certainly acted without the UN blessing.
In short it doesnt mattr how you dress it or defend it the United nations is no longer an Authority |

Its not about obama or whoever you elect. its about the pirates that created America in the first place. |

Read the Resolution. You are completely and utterly misinformed to the level of tinfoil hattery. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Nations_Security_Council_Resolution_1973
The action in Libya was ENTIRELY and STRICTLY under UN "blessing". Then watch the speeches of the Security Council members in explanation of their vote.
The devil is in the detail as they say.
America caused this problem so they should clean it up end of story.
If they want to become 4th reich nazis and take over the world and ignore the UN then thats up to them But why should i as a British subject be forced to watch PIRATES who rejected thier king(thats the US forefathers) force us to clean up thier mess ? |
