Yes this is a rant... FFS FIX THE ***GIN GAME FIRST!!!!ONE!!!!ONETHOUSAND.
And yes this is an alt my main account was turned off on DEC25, so this would technical be my main.. wierd that.

But hey I'm sure CCP's answer to this ill be to lock this thread and dump it into the many others they decide to ignore.
Eeaaassssy, tiger lily..We all know that updates or hotfixes can have unintended consequences which, judging by your initial post, *could* or *could not* have been referring to (which it wasn't). It is hard for a dev to take a complaint seriously that is like "it is teh broken!~!@" when that could mean old problems, new (undocumented) problems, etc.
I've been using drones just fine. I tell them to Engage Target, they shoot target and they return to my ship/bay when finished. Every other drone 'issue*' are the same issues that I've seen in EVERY MMORPG I've ever played that has had a pet class. If CCP can fix pet pathing issues where so many other developers have tried than they'd be literally the world's best MMORPG coders.
*The whole "forever chasing a mob that is trying to keep in optimal range that happens to have agro on the drone chasing it" thing, etc

Sorry Snarls McGee, i've just saw that by including my rant into the reply of your other post, it may look like i'm exploding at you, I'm not, I just hit rant mode and went off one one my bad... I'll leave the rant up CCP can do with it as they wish.
My rants are never ment to cause offence to another paying player of this game, we all have to put up with the same issues.

Yeh I gave up reading corp/alliance/personal mail ages ago. I got no research agents so its all good. This bug appeared around the time Cyvok left, so I get a tonne of re-assurance emails, strategy emails etc to alliance/corp mail on 2 accounts. Ick.

Guess i should have been more specific.
Drones sometimes are not listening to orders again. Command them to return and they don't, command to return and orbit and they don't. Sometimes they still wander off of target not as bad as it was but still happens now.

Still got the problem myself, on 2 accounts. Dont think its need to fill in a bug report is it? Alot of people got it...

got it here too, deleted all folders and reinstalled and still there, even with the optional patch, cache folder is fine, happens on 19 other people in the corp too, and its quite annoying having to re-read all the mails every time we log on

I just checked to see if my folder was read-only, and yes it is. Along with the rest of my hard-drive. Unchecking the read only box does not stay. Every folder on my drive is read only now, and none of them will come off of it. Yet, I can create and delete folders and files.

if you've admin rights it doesn't matter if the folder is set to read only or not. they can be created or deleted anyway

Guess I'll add my two cents too 
Almost my entire corp is down with the eve-mail flu as well. Ive simple stopped reading any eve mail for weeks and just ignore the flashing icon in the top left. Not exactly the solution I had in mind

I don't usually complain much about things, but yes I'm experiencing the problem with eve-mail as well. Its starting to annoy me greatly.
I trust that's its been worked on as I speak. I suspect there are many who are sufferig worse from it, Especially higher up members of many corporations and alliences and researchers

Also another thing that SHOULD be looked at, is the cache folder, will not respond to unticking the read-only box, everytime it will re-tick it again and this could be the problem.

I have the exact same problem.
All messages since Wednesday that I don't delete show up as not read.
I apologise, i never meant to make it sound as though i thought you were lying. We're looking into the problem and will try get a fix for it asap.

not fixed, 2 accts / computers, 1 PC with the optional patch
not gonna bother patching the 2nd PC, I wasn't having any of the other issues and god knows what else the optional patch broke
