I have now I hadn't orignally as it was stated in the patch notes that it had been fixed so I didn't see there any point, but last night I had this "feature" again.

I just checked my Cache folder and it was magickally set to read-only. :/ Don't have the time to log in to see if that has it fixed but it should. It's possible the patch accidentally changed the folder setting.

As far as I know you guys in CCP there are a LOT of differences between SiSi and Tranquility, not mentioning server stability/workload problems. You really should invest in better test departament. I remember one dev was testing drone stucking problem (also known as drone mating) using ONE drone!

Personal mails and alliance mails will hold their "read" status.

They should all be marked as 'read-only'. I'm not sure why, must be a Microsoft 'feature' to do with networking. As for the emails, fix it already. AND the lag. AND the crashes. AND the little images in the forums. AND invention. Do all this BEFORE you start messing with more 'features' to the game. Prettying up the new user creation screen shouldn't have been priority #1 at ALL. I can see how it might be from the marketing department, so as to entice new players to the game, but goddamit FIX the game FIRST would ya? ~~~ This is my sig. Do you like it? ~~~

I put up a petition and the GM that took care of the petition told me he has the same with his chars. He forwards me to make a stupid bug report! Its not a problem when things get bugged after a patch. That is normal in software. Thats why i petition some times, as to help. But filling in bug reports and activly help testing is another thing! If the GMS have the same problem, why donÆt THEY fill in a report?? Nooo we ask the paying customer to enrol life as a bug tester. Did we miss something?? I play eve to relax and to get away from filling in forms, work, and do serious ****. I want to PLAY and have fun, not to test a game via bug reports! And when OBVIOUS bugs like this pop up i expect them to escalate my petition to their bug testers and seek it out themselves. I am sure those nuckleheads with glasses will find a solution in 0101010 talk, so leave me out of it. FFS, they can talk against their own programmers in bits and bytes language so they understand the problem better if some one internal would do some bug testing.

Jesus H., I made a thread about a week ago, and yes it was a crazy lunatic style rant, but you guys locked it saying that it would be fixed and here we are, problem still not fixed. It's completely random. I have mails as far back as the 12th being flagged as not read, and then nextime i login mails only go back to the 22nd. And there's a mailing list that I constnatly unjoin myself from only to find myself rejoined everytime i login. This is one of the most irritating bugs I have ever experienced, so for the love of god, even if you have to release some little mini patch, FIX THIS PROBLEM. ____________________________ My sig, therefore I am.

Eeaaassssy, tiger lily..We all know that updates or hotfixes can have unintended consequences which, judging by your initial post, could* or could not have been referring to (which it wasn't). It is hard for a dev to take a complaint seriously that is like "it is teh broken!~!@" when that could mean old problems, new (undocumented) problems, etc. I've been using drones just fine. I tell them to Engage Target, they shoot target and they return to my ship/bay when finished. Every other drone 'issue' are the same issues that I've seen in EVERY MMORPG I've ever played that has had a pet class. If CCP can fix pet pathing issues where so many other developers have tried than they'd be literally the world's best MMORPG coders. The whole "forever chasing a mob that is trying to keep in optimal range that happens to have agro on the drone chasing it" thing, etc ---------- We've all heard that a million monkeys typing will eventually create something intelligent.
