edit: Now it changed to ministry of sound, thanks :)
Its a mix of all types.
European-style, American-style, euphoric, heavy, light, Japanese, whatever.
If there's a particular song you want me to zap, tell me. The only Japanese/Eurodance-style song that I will refuse to zap is Re-Sublimity because it is so awesome.
By the way, would anyone here lynch me if I added "Anna Boten" to the mix?
Great listening. I just installed winamp so i could listen while at work
Play 'Anna Boten' and im sure you will get lynch'd. I know i would supply the rope

For some reason it wouldn't play back... will try again later.
If I may though not to detract from your trance station; I listen to trance and drum & bass alot playing eve using itunes radio under the electronica section, it's bursting with trance stations, some of which are bloody good (ETN.fm trance station, for example)
Anyways good luck with your station, I'll try it again later.

He's not playing it publicly, he's playing it privately to a few of his closest and best friends. Didn't you read the EULA stating that by connecting to his ip address you were agreeing to be his bestest friend for ever and ever until you die? ----------- Join channel 'ExScape' or die! Just offering a friendly tip that's all.. Not trying to pick up a fight. A person I know got into serious legal consequences for running a very small online radio, which essentially worked by streaming MP3 files off his PC. It was only advertised on a couple of forums too. Posting the info on Eve forums could possibly constitute making the stream publicly available for everyone who reads these forums, because as far as I know you don't even need to be registered to Eve to read threads here. Basically, anyone can get the info from here. What the EULA on his station info says doesn't matter, it's still publicly accessible.
Just to clear it up, I'm all for free streaming on the net, just a shame the record industry doesn't like the idea that much.

I know that. I was just joking about. There is no EULA.
You make a good point though. What are the legal issues of a shoutcast server? ----------- Join channel 'ExScape' or die! (bring pie) I <3 carebears on toast ^^ - Xorus I'll trade you some carebears for some sheep -Tirg

I'm guessing it depends a lot on what county you live in, and also simply your luck. If the local legislation wants to make an example out of your case, get ready to be fined insane amounts of money. Sometimes they might just ask you to shut down the server and if you do that they take no further actions.
As an example of fines relating to music, a local bar that used copied CDs recently got raided, and all their CDs were taken away from them. I think they had to pay 15x the original CD price for each copied CD (about 150Ç per CD) in their selection, which covered some 500+ titles/compilations. That was the latest example case over here, probably made to send a message to other clubs to "not to violate copyrights".
As in the case I mentioned earlier, it only takes one dedicated jerk to report a possible copyright issue. From that on forwards, you're going strictly on luck, hoping that the complaint isn't taken seriously or that the parties responsible for being copyright watchdogs are simply too busy with other cases.

EVE-Radio doesn't pay extra for their songs either.
So I doubt there is a big issue with royalties.
By the way, the reason the quality is so good at 64kbps is because I'm using AAC+ rather than MP3. At 64kpbs, MP3 would sound horrible!

I'm pretty sure Eve Radio has a license to stream copyrighted content, wouldn't you think? That's the way roaylties are generally treated in streaming any sort of media on the web, and there's different organizations handling the licensing depending on your location. I'd be very surprised if Eve Radio hadn't acquired a license.

You really think they've bought an expensive license for every one of the thousands of songs they play? I doubt it.
Anyways, we're getting off topic. If the RIAA decides to ask me to shut down, I will, so its a moot point.

Sounds good, when I hit the "Steam URL" it gave me an error which was misleading. The link to "Listen" at the top works perfectly.

iTunes doesn't support AAC+ streams as far as I know. Use Winamp.

Download Winamp, best media player around. And Free!
Should make a web site design for this station, like a shell design with a link to the stream and to winamp, etc. Let me know, I'm willing to help with design/hosting/anything you need.
How long will you have the station available? This rocks!

Send me some.
Upload it somewhere, evemail me a link. I've gotten flooded with links lately though, so will take a while to download and review everything, especially as right now I'm on a fleet op
