Hi,
No this isn't a thread about a most beloved american muscle car but a new Rokh setup I call the IòRokh.
HIGH: 4x Heavy Diminishing Power System Drain 4x T2 Torpedo Launchers
MED: 1x T2 100mn MWD 1x Named Warp Disruptor 1x T2 X-Large Shield Booster 1x T2 Invulnerability Field 1x T2 Heat Dissipation Field 1x T2 Photon Scattering Field
LOW: 3x Local Hull Conversion Inertial Stabilizers 2x Local Hull Conversion Nanofiber Structure
Use the NOS to deplete your opponent's Cap and hit em' with your Torps. Orbit at around 19km to stay within the 20km range of the Scram. Pretty simple setup. Should give the NanoPhoon a run for it's Money. But I got dibs on the name IòROKH. Just sounds cool.
Feedback appreciated!

If you felt happy you could drop a nano for a BCU II

The Rock is a slow ship, what kind of speed and @ what skills do you get with it using different variations of stab/nano configurations?
I am thinking that you can probably do better in speed by droping one stab and moving a nano there, not as agile, but with 2 stabs and multipule nano's that shouldnt be much of an issue.
Also, the BCU change could help as well, depending on how much speed you lose from droping a stab/nano.

Well some might think the NanoPhoon is lame, but it has its place in Eve.
It might not be the best optimal setup for it (ie. 8x 425mm T3 Railguns), but none the less, I just wanted to post something that might not of been considered or overlooked. Don't knock it until you try it... It doesn't have a large drone bay which is one of its limitations.

no cap injector? even with 4 heavy nos ur cap aint gonna last long with ur booster and mwd on. and if he has 1 or 2 heavy nos like most pvp bs then ur screwed. good idea but needs injector.

This setup will not work, because your opponent will warp off if he's not owning you. Maybe you'll win, but you won't kill a thing.
And if you bring a tackler friend with you, lose the web and fit an injector. Oh, and lose the NOS + Torps and fit rails instead. And lose the stabs/nanos and fit PDUs and mag stabs. And go snipe.

sound like a decent setup to me .. but u'll need a cap injector no matter what, cap recharge rate on the rokh is horrid, and dont active tank it >_< waste of cap u'll need for MWD, since it'll be a long battle, dps from torp rokh are beyond horrid.

ok ur new setup looks good. i'll be very interested to see if it works. i've found the ship to be very slow tbh and i'mnot sure if it'll be fast enough and have enough dps to work nearly as well as the phoon or domi varients but a solid idea

Expand please? The cap use on a AC tempest is : 2 LARs and....well thats it. Those use exactly 800 cap. After you have nossed me dry, I will stay dry, and keep my tank going. You will not break a double rep tank with 4 siege w/o a damage bonus. What you would have to do to win, would be to cause me a cap death. So the question becomes, can you keep a MWD, and a shield tank up long enough with natural regen, to outlast all my charges? And if you want a point on me, you will be getting hit by my guns, They won't be excellent hits, but they will be hits.
So I ask again, how exactly does the Tempest Pilot die?

5 light T2 drones wil leat frigates interceptors(intys require a little drone nav skill) and AFs.

jesus bloody christ why not actually try to use blasters that deal good dmg instead of a fit that kills a ship in a week or two, nos setups like this are exetremly boring
yes i have tried 8x neutron rokh and it pwns.
i use:
8x neutron t2
xl sb t2 t2 amp t2 invuls t2 t2 em hard heavy capinjector
3 magstabs t2 1 good dmg control darkblood pdu for pg
2x heavy web drones in drone bay.
its a gang setup, this ship is not intended as a solopwnobil but its great in small and medium sized gangs. great tank and 850 dps. ;)
btw range is:
null 16km opti 15 km falloff void 10km opti 12 km falloff
i personally like null better since i dont use a mwd and it tracks a whole lot better.

DPS seems a little lacking with T2 torps.
Fit it like a Neutronthron, and add ECM out the arse.
Win.
