Cosmo Raata Federation of Freedom Fighters Executive Outcomes	Posted - 2006.12.17 17:35:00 - [1] CCP broke the Low Sec Cosmos mission and the GM I petitioned didn't want to listen. There are 5 agents in this system, all level 4 agents. 2 Amarr, 1 Khanid, 1 Caldari, 1 Ammatar These agents do nothing but given you a voucher called Mina's Voucher if you have a 6.0 standing or above to speak with them. Once you obtain the voucher, you take the voucher to Minas Iksan, he gives you an event 8 part mission. Previously CCP had this agent as a level 2 agent, this was this way to allow any one with a standing from one of the above to speak with him and start the mission. Now CCP Stupidly changed him to a level 4 agent, which means those that didn't run Amarr missions have to get a 6.0 or above with 2 factions now. Also, Many people are mission *****s and were able to get a voucher from every agent out there and be able to run 5 sets of cosmos. Yeah for them, a nice reward for working hard, but..... This is where CCP made a huge mistake, they made it so you can talk to Minas Iksan once. The GM I spoke with said it was fixed this way to prevent farming, but thats upsurd because you had to have the vouchers to run it in the first place!!!!! You can't farm it without having a character with a standing high enough to get the voucher. So you're punishing those that worked hard and take away yet another honest way to make isk. We as a corp ran these together, sharing our vouchers, having 3 haulers, as many bs's as we could and the fastest we ran them was 1 every 1 1/2 hours 3 time on sunday. How is that farming? We never saw another living soul running these, probably because they were so damn hard. A little background of these missions, they are hard enough that people had to use Carriers to run them before, but they removed that, they are hard enough that you need a super faction fitted super tanked machine to do them (but why would anyone care to run them if you can only do them once????). They at best drop a Fleet Tempest BPC and a speed implant. Thank you CCP for ruining yet another way to work as a team and make isk in the game. Now there is only NPCing and mining again. I'm sorry if I'm not making enough sense, I'm just furious that CCP keeps ruining ways we as a corp can work together and make some isk. Funny how CCP wants us to vote for them to win the PVE award from MMORPG.com, yet missions have been nerfed, exploration finds you spawns of 5 cruisers and Cosmos are a 1 time deal. This is a PvP game yes, its why I play, but I can't replace ships if you keep removing ways to make it besides t2 bpos.

Darag maltue	Posted - 2006.12.17 18:12:00 - [7] I have been and seen my Khanid agent and collected my voucher would somone in CCP please tell me what agent in what system I can use it in I do not have a +6 stading with Amarr to use the agent in the same system and was not told where to go to use it Should I be able to use it or are CCP going to remove the non Amarr agents from this system so I dont get a voucher I cant use?

Farming suggests repetitive running ad infinitum to make isk. The way it was before the latest nerf each person could only run a max of 8 missions. Yes a coordinated group (and it does take a group) could therefore run the missions many times over but as has been said it took a significant group effort and the number of runs was always finite. No capital ships I personally can understand but now they are a waste of server resources as nobody will bother I doubt.

As we pointed out you could run one per faction and one per faction navy so 8 in total per player BUT that assumes you have a high standing with each and that requires an astronomical effort before you even start.

Argenton Sayvers	Posted - 2006.12.17 20:15:00 - [12] There is a story behind this. Back when carriers could enter those missions where farmed to death. They dropped loads of +5 Implants, Fleet Tempest BPCs, rare and expensive special Implants etc. It wasnt uncommon to see several characters selling several 2 run fleet tempest BPCs for weeks, together with a nice selection of +5 Implants. Certain farmers contacted people with high amarr standings offering them 100m for "a little work" (they wanted the vouchers of course). Of course, not all of the farmers where BoB or big alliance members.

You do realize you're complaining that a BUG got fixed, right? If anything, you should only get to use the person once per specific agent's voucher, so if 5 agents give you the voucher, a person could do it 5 times. It sounds like you and your corp simply had one person use everyone's vouchers, and that the thing was over-fixed. Btw, just how much stuff did you loot an an hour and a half that you needed 3 haulers? player with caldari or khanid standing can get the voucher but cannot use the agent with out a high amarr standing its useless. The Missions had capital ships taken out of them, fine. Then they got nerfed to hell to where bs bpc didnt drop anymore. Now they regular loot has been nerfed also to where in a bs can that used to have a smartbomb, large gun and 2 or 3 other mods and a tag, now only has a tag. It takes a grossly tanked bs to handle 15 bs, 10 cruisers, and 15 frigs shoot it all at once. by the way only 5 of the 50+ give any bounty and they total all together at around 2million total for all 5 of them. Ccp wants us to work together to do things well this is making it where no one can run these effectively. If there are 6 cosmos agents there should be 6 chances to run a cosmos mission. We used three haulers to speed us up. we used to get 15k in loot per 8 run mission. this morning we ran it 2 twice and i wouldnt say we got 10k in loot. Still dropped cans just with only tags in it. not to mention alot of the cans are 75km away from you when you warp in, in deadspace so no mwd. If ccp is so worried about farming they should change complexes so spawn randomly so the same group dont get to run the everyday. that is farming, what we are doing is working to get our standings about 6 with 5 factions to run these missions.

CCP doesnt like farmers, so fix complexes and macro miners. Not the people who accually play the game, and people who fortunatly for them have playing time that corresponds with dt so they can farm the damn complexes everyday. What is funny is i bet all these people responing to this thread already farmed them to death and dont want anyone else to earn anything.
