Add some cap recharge rigs and you can tank 50-60% more.

Thats a silly amount of money to spend on a ship that will most likely die to blobbing anyway. --- Eve Wiki | Eve Tribune | Eve Pirate |

The Sleipnir has high skill requirements. By the time one can fly it he should be able to come up with some better fittings. And at least know the standard method of posting a fitting on the forums. ____ If your not dyin' your not tryin'. |

the stab ruins any good setup imo - the era of using stabs is over. But then again, I just don't really think super expensive setups are worth it unless you are going to use this ship in some kind of fleet ops. . . all too often, you will find yourself jumping through a gate or warping into a bubble where no setup is going to save you and only prolongs your death. T2 mods are good, but all the cosmos/named stuff is simply too expensive to use on anything other then a mission runner. But thats my opinion, and many people disagree with that.

Cap amount rigs > cap recharge rigs for most purposes.
They give almost the same amount of recharge increase (the difference is the same as a damage vs a rof bonus) plus a lot extra cap to use up. This also means you will be closer to the peak recharge area for a longer time which offsets the lower peak recharge.
Only time the recharge rigs will be better is if your cap usage is more than the recharge with +amount rig but less than the recharge with +recharge rigs. ---------------------------------------- A Guide to Scan Probing in Revelations |

omg you contributed so much to this thread
btw this is pretty much the standard sleipnir setup if you have isk so i don't know what you're babbling about better setups
(sell your gist x-type booster, buy a b-type and a DG invul field, that's all I have to say)

It's about the only way to make the sleipnir compete with other command ships in terms of tankability.
I guess you'll be training for one now?

Nah. I don't like spending upwards of 600m to make a ship useful. I like spending upwards of 600m to make a ship that much more unstoppable. Sorta why I never trained Amarr... ----------------------------

Well, let's see.
First off you are fitting on a t2 mwd. Personally i dont think the small 50% difference is enough to justify the extra fittings and cap usage. I mean does it really matter whether your going 1300 or 1500 m/s?
Then, you have a t2 cap booster on there. Anyone who has ever used cap boosters before knows that the electrochemical variant is actually better than the t2.
Thirdly, you have a t2 istab on there, which i dont think is ingame yet.

You forgot the T2 nos, IIRC, diminishing = T2, with a lower skill req.

So lol. -------- The BoB model is bad for business. Incidently the BoB model is more suited for a game such as WoW where as the ASCN model more suited for Eve.
