The bliss of ignorance, everyone can be immediately and effortlessly good at it. Please go on defining your rate of success by the number of people you **** off.
EddZ has a point: inventing a t2 item is actually more expensive than buying it from a bpo owner because the initial investment will not pay off in less than a couple of years time (and we haven't even considered the success rate). So far you have been unable or unwilling to invalidate this.
What makes it even funnier is the fact that due to the apparent lack of documentation/information no one is able to determine if invention is simply broken or an insanely stupid idea.

Datacores? Free. T1 BPC? Free. Decryptor? Free. T1 meta item? depends on what your building, even if it's a hac it's still only 4-5m tops. Data interface? Expensive, but it lasts forever, use as much as you want.
Now you do the math.
Great, care to sell me a thousand datacores then? I will pay 100 ISK per unit.
On a serious note, applying your special flavour of logic, faction battleships are free too.

Datacores are free, they mainly come from research agents and are gained passively, how much does it cost to get the agent to hand them to you? Nothing, other than your passively gained rp, and it doesn't use much time to autopilot to an agent and grab the datacores.
Stop claiming that datacores even have a value, theres a few things to factor in here, like nobody is inventing yet, how could they have a value? Also with more T2 bpos being released, a lot more people may hang onto their rp to see if they get lucky, but once those bpo's are all dished out, we'll see more people exchanging for datacores.
... and all you have to do is spend countless hours of running missions to increase your standings enough to be actually able to use those agents. Let me guess, in your opinion standings are free too, because you raise them while making isk by missions?
And for datacores not having any value, you may want to check the market to find out that you are mistaken.

ONE datacore every few (~5) days per agent. 16 are needed for HAC invention. This all adds up to the possibility of inventing a HAC bpc once every few weeks. And the rest of the time you let your interface (that is worth multiple billions) just sit in your hangar and gather dust?
Sound strategy, but serious inventors will buy datacores so their interfaces can be active all the time.

Wrong question. How much does it cost to get OTHER PLAYERS to hand them to you? Do the terms supply and demand ring any bells?
I doubt if you can get a standing of 7 by spending only a single day with missions. And I doubt anyone will do it to gain access to datacores that have (according to you) no value at all.

Wrong, wannabe inventors will buy datacores, SERIOUS inventors will have research alts gathering RP for them.
I didn't say a day, i said a day and a half, and you can doubt it all you want, if you cant comprehend it then it's your problem.
Multiple alts, multiple research corps, aren't we now closer to multiple weeks of missioning for standings?
Is your time free too?

Originally by: Lady Noir Oh and by the way Shadow, i notice how you failed to mention the negative standing when you first said it took you two months? Why did you fail to mention that i wonder? Perhaps because you are trying to make the invention process look harder than it really is perhaps? I think so.
Because faction standing doesn't matter if corp standing is at zero or better?
On the other hand, why didn't you mention your r&d alts when you claimed all it takes to get unlimited datacores for invention is one and a half days of work?

Full quote, no alts. Who is making invention look different than it actually is?

What's your point?
You deliberately refuse to see it.
Honestly, if you don't know why doing something that you criticize others for completely removes the credibility of the statement, I am not capable of explaining it.
