Hello Launcher testing people,
so here I got two major problems I encountered today:
1.) The new Launcher doesn-¦t connect me to SiSI, it happens just nothing when I select SiSi and then press "Play".
2.) The Launcher can-¦t be unistalled at "Win 7 due to some kind of administrative issue, but I-¦m the admin of my own computer.
I think this connection problem could be related to my directory, but to fix this, I need to reinstall the beta launcher and maybe the game itself, which is impossible if I can-¦t remove the new launcher from my HDD.
If those problems can be solved, everything will be awesome!

I would try starting windows in safe mode to uninstall. Or you might need to take ownership of the install folder.
I would also place all of EVE outside of Program Files folder. Try My Documents\Games\, for example.

did u install the new launcher directly to your system drive ? C:\launcher etc ,,, ? if so then set premissions to your user account for this folder sometimes windows manages to makes to mess up when u install stuff directly to C:

after u pick it, reload the page (right click reload) see if it helps .. |

So its way faster just run game from .exe and do reloging all those alts when running industry jobs having using the .exe to launch 6 accounts and the new launcher i can freely say the launcher is faster. yes it is a BETA so issues here and there is accepted. \ then try re log alts on already launched account and see what happens ( u gotta do this if u re running industry alts)
um .. do i get it right u actualy logg off the character.. land on the login page and then login to next toon ? .. if so then i dunno i just close the client and relaunch it for the next toon. seems lot faster even on my crappy laptop.

It looks like the recent (~10 minutes ago) update to the Beta launcher deleted all of the settings profiles I had made -- I only have the default one again now: https://imgur.com/Sw3FXOf
Did anyone experience a similar issue/find a workaround other than recreating them? |
