kublai Short Attention Span	Posted - 2006.12.31 14:44:00 - [31] I got a mail frome some guy called ogdru jahad or something, accusing me for violating a 1v1 because I once logged on to help my friend Intigo kill a sacrilidge in a complexe, resulting in the the unfair "gangbang" of his hac with my friends bc and my own Navy Vexor. Which obviously is not real, pvp. If you wanto know what real pvp is, I suggest contacting ogdru, he didn't have anything to do with the victim as far as I could tell, so i'm assuming his taken it upon himself to be the pvp police. Apart from that, I guess we could pool all our hate-mail into a database and commit ourselves to analysing it, I don't know about the rest of you, but my victims sure seem to know what real pvp is in their mails (in addition to my age, size of *****, date of my death and intimate details about the family sheep).

Kill a mission runner enough and destroy his cargo and they soon offer to pay you to leave them alone, gives me a nice weekly income for no work, and funds my more psycopathic moments

With kali more guys just stab up rather than fit for speed..... a maller is not going to work very often and you are not gonna even stop a bestower from warping I can guarantee. No, but I can kill a hauler and pod the pilot and pick up the stuff all while tanking sentries then leave in my maller. You don't need several minutes to kill a hauler.

From experience now that no-one needs to fit for speed most haulers are going the stab route... they are even not trying to get into warp fast with nanos / inertias, just stabbed to hell and back. Over the last few weeks I'm noticing more and more haulers just fitting stabs in lows and this setup is to stop the buggers warping on me constantly. Currently running 5 disruptors and it's working great, with no t1 haulers getting away at all except for when I make error with positioning / being at right gate.
FooB2 Caldari Pre-nerfed Tactics	Posted - 2007.01.01 14:27:00 - [53] Edited by: FooB2 on 01/01/2007 14:29:28 the funny thing is, that you can tell us the "real pvp" is in 0.0. yet anyone with an ounce of sense can realise thats its harder being a low sec pirate than being in 0.0, and MUCH more fun too. the points of interest; - 1) We are -10. people can shoot us wherever and whenever they like, plus they have systems they can run to without us being able to follow. we can only shoot back without having to take the sentry guns into account. 2) ANYONE can go to low sec. how many anti-pirate corps do you see wandering around random 0.0 regions? fact is, NERFT alone get at least one anti-pirate bunch hunting us every other day or so. usually up to about 5 people, at least 3 of which are in battleships. we have LOTS of awesome fights. win or lose. i lost a nighthawk a few days ago to 3 anti-pirate battleships. they know who they are, and good on them. 3) This one sort of ties in which 2), but lowsec is pretty much the only place where the oldschool method of low-member gangs flying around looking for stuff still exists, because people who understand lowsec also understand that blobs are just stupid. again, this leads to more good fights, win or lose. at the end of the day, NERFT members were -10 for months, and we decided to fix up just for a change. and try everything we could. we did the empire wars thing, BLood of the Innocents alliance was formed which we were in for a couple of months, where we lived in curse contributing to the disbanding of Curse Coalition. what did we see? a 300 member alliance flying about 0.0 in ships that had a corp-issued mandatory setup of at least two warp core stabs and a cloak, regardless of the ship. We killed a CC POS. it was like watching paint dry. after it all, we and our pirate allies all decided the only fun to be had was in lowsec, because people have more balls than you think. not everyone in lowsec is a hauler. TEAM LULZ FOR HIRE

If I shoot the hauler, that is a person shooting another person. Player Versus Player. PKing and PVPing are the same, if you're pvping you're killing players, if you're killing players you're pvping.

(i imagine warp to zero would make this quite practical) edit: purely out of interest how much do those rigs set you back. and to the carebears whining: tiller is actually doing you a favour warning you about the latest in pirate tactics.

I hope, for your sake, that wasn't aimed at me. As for affording rigs 65 mil for what is almost an extra med slot is easily worth it on caldari ships. As tiller said, he made the money back in two hours of gate camping. You may wana take a good hard look at your own income before calling people noobs.
