A certain someone that happens to be the founder of a certain corp has his name changed, and his security status boosted up to +2. Overnight.
He was -5 security (i remember it being lower but that is what he was on november the 5th)
I doubt he had lvl4 agents. I doubt that he killed enough npcs to get +2. But this might also be the case. If so i salute the bravery and patience.
And his name wasnt offensive. It has been changed. A new char has been created with his old name, and his portrait has been made to look alike (not the same though).
The same guy is on my adress book, different name.
The same guy is on the "founder" section of the corp info, different name.
So 2+2=3
How can i aquire one of those level 5 agents that change your name and boost you to +2 sec? I'd really like one.
Please help me. I cant think of ANY other way for such changes to happen.

... Might be lvl.3 agent to bring one from -6.0 or more to 0.0, and a couple of agent missions which give the 0.3 - 0.5 boost to the security status each, but it'd take some very lucky streak to have them happen in one day... and doesn't of course explain the name change. o.O

Don't you think that it can be a bug in the eve data base and that your new char in the book, really is a new char?

Last time I did missions for my CONCORD Agent luck wasn't a factor. Every single mission gave my security status a boost, regardless of the details of the mission.
Unless this has changed, someone with a Level 3 Agent and appropriate CONCORD Agent can easily go from -6.0 to +2.0 or higher in a single 24 hour period. I know I definitely could if my sec status ever dropped that low for any reason.
Still sounds shady though. Not surprising, just shady.

No, because he is the same char, same portrait, STILL the founder of the corp (the founder never changes). He still has a huge bounty on his head.
The other char is a 0.0 noob corp char, that doesnt even look like the real char.
If i thought it was a database problem, i'd say it. its not.

Viceroy is simply saying that someone else has an Uncle Shitula, and he isn't happy about it.
For those of you not up on EVE lingo. He, just as I aswell as others, are assuming that he has a friend (founder of Biomass) in the inside. Say.. a GM. I doubt it to be a Dev, they rarely interact with the community besides events/chaos chat.
I'm personally extremely mad about this, because me and others (IE: Stavros) had to wait a LONG ass time before our security rating dropped from -10. We lost our security standings in FD-MLJ, back when FD-MLJ was NOT suppose to give you security hits. TomB and many other GMs along with him stated that its a glitch. It was, and now its fixed. But did those who lost their security standing get it reset to 0.0 (which mine was till I started my campaign in FD)? I think not. Now, you say we deserve it as pirates, but if it happened to you; wouldn't you want the same?
Regardless of my profession in EVE, I was given that security standing in an unjust manner. So, I waited, very patiently, 85 days as of now to be exact. Me and a few friends are stocking up, because we have plans to wreak revenge in which the space we were exiled from.
We didn't get our security reset because "They couldn't find it." We didn't get it reset because, "If you do it to one person, you have to do it to them all." And thats too much trouble for them..
But it looks like not all of us got turned down.
What Viceroy has is not a glitch, because the characters D.O.B. is the same as the original founder. The newly made character who is to resemble the founder, is brand spanking new, or so says his D.O.B.
Now you tell me? It seems people who deserve things never get them, but those who don't; do.

I don't think an agent could help you boost your rating from -8.x to +2.0. I doubt that any agent has the option to change your name.
It's very confusing... especially because I know who you are talking about

I was in geminate last night and noticed it as well. Don't know why nobody is giving the details. In any case, it appears to be Narayan Diesel, now Gunn Diesel, complete with a shiny new positive sec.

how about putting your case together, get your evidence together, and send that to CCP staff.
I guess some people feel "what's the point, they won't respond" or something, but it's the only way.
Maybe you've already done this, but if you've only posted in the forum about it, i doubt it'll get looked at |

This all smells like fricking c.rap if you ask me, I demand an explanation for this!!! If the Devs/GM's think they're gonna sit this one out again they're dead wrong.
I, the paying customer demand an answer from the people running the show up there.
Every day playing this game adds more frustration and decreases the happy hours I get from this game, perhaps it is time to seek new entertainment. 
I know that the carebears would be happy.

possible solution:
he paid his lvl3 agent up to 0.0 in sec status
he did ALOT of missions
then he got out and killed a few rats
how is this a solution?
i noticed some time ago that if i killed rats after doing lots of missions my security status skyrocketed.
- got a 0.0 > 0.7 boost in by just killing rats in secure space for 1 hour.
- later i got a 1.2 > 2.0 boost after completing some more missions
i guess this has got something to do with your concord standing going up because of agent missions...and then the security rating "catches" up when you go to kill some rats.
anyway, my 2 isks

Anyways, it is highly unlike for someone who has kept a low security rating, to remarkably use that agent of all times.
And gaining +2 overnight? What, are you serious? He would have had to sit there chainspawning ALL night long. And considering he's a pirate, I doubt he would be one to kill NPCs.
And then there is of course, the name change. There was without a doubt a name change. As alot of us experienced a "new and missing persons" problem in our address book. This new guy shows up, and he's Founder of Biomass? Huh? What happened to the other guy? Oh, well look, he's in a noob corp, with a noob birth date.
Anyone else notice, that threads on the whining forum, this one, have slowed down dramatically? Either people stopped caring about the boards and feel no need to **** and moan (which hasn't happened).. or I hate to say, the community is shrinking.. rapidly.

Did that, GMs told me to **** off because apparently it was non of my business and that they would not discuss this with a "third party"
So hear, have the whole eve community as a third party.

This thing happened overnight.
His name was changed too.
And i very seriously doubt he has a lvl3 agent at all, nevermind a concord agent, as he was a known pirate and was deep down in negative security for a long long time.
So, lets see.
2+2=5
Explaination please.
I didnt do 150 agent missions so people could get their SR boosted from crap to +2 overnight.
People havent been waiting MONTHS for their SR to get back to normal.

No offence, but this is one hell of a tough claim you¦re making right there. I hope you have the evidence to back that one up... because... if this really happened then somebody needs to be fired asap.
Perhaps the original guy sold his account and the new owner got a GM to change all that? Just a wild guess tho...

Perhaps but not the first time. Do a search on a corp that got burned by a certain member. Don't remember the name OldoNovus or something headed by FOL. There was an outcome to that particular incident, but I don't think it was allowed to be discussed. You can even search my posts on the matter. It surfaced when it happened and then surprisingly later when this certain member had his name changed to Lake I believe.
Havn't seen that name around iether. And the whole topic died a very quiet death. This is nothing new unfortunately it just happened to slip out from beneath the covers. Don't expect a reply besides a lock and deletion.

If the reason is legitimate, and onthe up-and-up then why is "that all" you can tell us? Why are we gagged for asking about it on Help?
Whatever the reason you have, it's probably a lameass excuse to cover up cheating. This guy's probably got extra slots on his ship and a "Click to add ISK" button in his wallet. Oh, but it "had to be done."
