Our opponents made some comments in local that were just too funny however. Nobody who war decs the Ivy League/Eve Uni to attack our students is looking for a fair fight. The shock they get is when they find out that the fight they've got isn't the one they wanted. If they wardec an alliance/large corp they will have to face the fact that their target will show up in large gangs, because they are able to do so. What do they expect? That an alliance will bring equal numbers to give them a fair fight? If these guys want a fair fight they should wardec a corp on their lvl, until they have the stones to fight the bigger boys without whining about numbers. If you wardec a large alliance u better be ready to reap what u sow. Cause everybody with a bit of sence want to protect their empire assets and safe travel through empire. This means showing up with what uve got. Most newbcorps are only wardeccing cause they want easy kills and good stats.

Most newbcorps are only wardeccing cause they want easy kills and good stats. please point this small PVP Corp our way for a simple war dec each week (50 mil isnt that hard) they contribute to the overall pool of privateer war decs and also get to shoot the alliance targets and corp targets taht all privateers are currently have available in our ever expanding and rotating pool of empire juicy targets and fun PVP with no serious romper stomper FC looking over youre shoulder

We spent most of it chasing them around and camping the stations they were docked at. They even praised our aggressiveness in another thread on here. Let me point something out. There is no more bloodthirsty PVP'er than an Eve Uni student, all decked out in his Griffin EW frig of doom, howling for blood. It's amazing how fast they get the PVP bug. So a roving band of 30+ Eve Uni pilots out hunting targets in wartime is not unusual. And not every student will be found flying frigs and dessies.

Hence most of our war gangs consist of cheap tech-1 frigates, destroyers and maybe cruisers that dont require a lot of skill. If characters with 20m+ SP declare war on E-UNI, the first assumption we make is that they want a few cheap kills to pad their killboard, and we usually counter their SP by fielding superior numbers. In times of peace we usually have basic PvP classes in which students learn the basics of fleet PvP, as that is what most territorial warfare comes down to in the end - that mostly means moving as a group, scouting, probing and tackling. We use the occasional war declarations on us as practical exercise to apply the learned concepts, so you will usually find one or two instructors surrounded by a lot of students in our war gangs. That said, we do have instructors, directors and a few other people who choose to stick with E-UNI instead of migrating to other corps who have 10m+ skill points, so any opponent might get hit with tech-2 weapons and ships. Also, we have some (in my opinion) pretty good sense of honor. If an E-UNI pilot offers a 1vs1, there is no reason not to assume he will follow through on that offer. That said, its always funny to see people gank 4 HAC/BS/AF vs 1 BS and then complain when the odds turn into 4 vs 30. On another note, our last war before this one was against Privateers back when they were not yet an alliance. They expected cheap hauler ganks in Empire it seems and didnt realize E-UNI doesnt hold any 0.0 space, which meant our "fleet" (if you can call a ragtag group of new players with some instructors a fleet) was residing in Empire and actively hunting them. ---------- These are my views and mine alone. Aurel Senia The Fayth	Posted - 2007.01.05 10:02:00 - [14] Oddly enough, that particular individual has always had an issue with higher reasoning, I wouldn't take his incoherent remarks too seriously. Thorsten Kabrinski and several of his bretheren left The Imperial Order Alliance (some northern-providence gateway huggers) after getting badly beaten on by a number of the local pirate corps. When they left, they formed Multiversal Corp or something similar and tried to emulate the pirates they ran from with little luck. Why? Because they don't know torpedo launchers from cap relays, and I would be suprised if they could figure out how to properly circumnavigate a station's docking ring let alone wage a war against any established corp. Pay them no mind, just slap them back down where they belong in the hope that one day they'll just give up and quit eve, making it a nicer place for the rest of us.

Smacking the TRAINING alliance YOU wardec'd for blobbing = priceless If you are going to pick on someone, do not pick on a group that has their entire presence in empire consisting of vets giving their knowledge to new characters, and new characters who DON'T CARE AT ALL about getting blown up (along with cheap clones and free frigates). I just don't really see the point in it except to give enjoyment to those eve-uni pilots

This comes from two things 1) Uber Vets who are in eve uni as they bored of everything else bringing out the big guns 2) Hordes of bloody noobs in frigs, happy to sit on gates for hours for no profit.
