People dying during an attempt to free them is an acceptable loss.
Try telling that to little Catiz. She's a young Brutor living on my plantation. Her parents were brutally killed by terrorists while being transported to a new assignment.
In the Republic, a life of destitution would have awaited her. Luckily for her though, I have taken responsibility for her upbringing.
You can't be serious, can you? The mental gymnastics you slavers go through to justify your monstrous behaviour is truly amazing.
I mean really, it's common knowledge that matari orphans are raised by other family members by prearranged comitments. These comitments extend into the clans as well, in case the worst happens and a whole family is wiped out for whatever reason.I am oneof these orphans and I can tell you that I was raised in a healthy, caring environment. My foster family supported me through my education and training as a pod pilot.
Family, clan, tribe. Matari. That is the one thing our people are never without. Even when enslaved by you. They know us when we come for them, for we are their families, their clans and tribes. We are Minmatar, and we Rise.

More mental gymnastics Merdaneth? I've seen the records of your actions in the Ushra'Khan archives. You've returned slaves into our care before, unless I'm mistaking you with another Merdaneth. What kind of game are you playing here? On one turn you support our cause, yet you continue to play these semantic games at any oportunity. I try to make sense of it, but your reasoning eludes me.

Funny, I thought my hostility came from seeing entire communities decimated by Amarr slavers and their mercenaries. As a young girl, my caravan was harrassed constantly by slavers, trying to pinch off a ship here, a ship there. I've seen these things with my own eyes, as have most other pilots in the U'K. You speak of the enslavement of my race as an act that occurred generations ago. The raids are now, the torture is still going on, and there are things worse than this.
As long as the Amarr hold our people, and take them against our will, we will be there.

Since when is the Amarr Navy not part of the Empire?

Actually it's the Amarr Navy hiring the mercs. Maybe your empires hands aren't as clean as you would like to think.

Originally by: Ikar Kaltin ah so of course because there were mercenaries it was the Amarr navy....nice to see how the Matari intelect works on these issues.
"Look its a mercenary" "obviosuly hired by the Amarr Navy" "I agree"
...
Yes. Of course. It wouldn't have had anything to do with the Amarr Naval officers present either. I may still have their dogtags laying around somewhere.
