To everyone involved in the Xelas/Corelum Syndicate vs Celest Friendly Corps... I want to say what a fight... In all my eve time I cannot say I've ever had more fun. 114 Kills with only 55 or so people fighting was just insane... People coming back in new ships only to see them get popped.. Getting called primary several times and getting out just in the nick of time. Neither side wanted to back down. At the end Xelas/Corelum controlled the field and therefore the loot. Let me tell you... It takes a long time to loot 114 cans lol.
In closing... Good Fight all to both sides... And lets hope we see more fights like this in the future.

Very fun fight guys. The 3 carriers you jumped in sort of tipped the scales, would be interesting to see how it would have went without those. ;)

Yes no Celest were involved... Thats because most of them are either in new corps or have left fountain. (Speaking from a US timezone perspective - not sure about Euro Numbers)
Here is what happened since you asked 
We were chasing around a hostile gang around after putting one of celest's towers into reinforced. We didn't get a fight so we were out looking for blood. The hostile gang went into MN5 and tbh not sure if they docked up or what but they didn't come out and play. We went into A-1CON and ganked a Brutix.. No biggie... Then as we were looking for more targets a hostile fleet of about 30 got on the a-1con gate. We were outnumbered like 20 to 30 or so but had a gang nearby. We jumped into yz and poped a cyno and jumped 3 carriers in the fleet. Now the battle was 30 to 33 or so based on the SOD killboards. Needless to say with 60 or so total having 114 ships destroyed ment a lot of people came back for more 
Like I said before was an awesome fight and props to everyone coming back for more. I bet the ship market in Core is going to be a little lacking for a while after this

This is nowhere near the 1st battle won by Xelas.... Nor will it be the last... Lets keep the smack out of this... This was just a friendly good fight post
Also I need to say... I've been involved with much larger fleet battles... C-J attack anyone... However this was the most intense one ever for me. It's one of the advantages and disadvantages of being in a NPC station area.... Anyone can come in and grab another ship and get back into the fight.

Heh, there were a few people on both sides that got blown up 4-5 times.

This was the best fight ive been in. The fight lasted for nearly 1hr and involved everyone going back and getting new ships to throw into the battle. The to gangs were very close in numbers and ship types so that makes for a great battle, only xelas brought in upto 3 carriers i think wich gave them the upper hand from that momment on. Had they not brought in any capital ships the fight would have been a lot closer and possable/probable win to the celes friendly's.
Never the less i/we/ all had fun and thats what this game is all about. Having Fun

sounds like a sweet battle wish I could made it but at 7 I was asleep losses n kills very close together I have heard kills 53 (ZAF/quint side) to 51 (xelas/Corelum.slackers side) anyways hoep to participate in next one :P

Life is so unfair, I stayed up 52 hours and went to sleep like 30 minutes before this fight?????? sigh... Great job everyone, glad to see there was some good fun to be had for all sides!
