I hope the epeen contest finishes soon (clearly, mine is the biggest), and I'm not sure why Celes are even commenting here, as from what I heard they weren't in the fight and have been moving as fast as possisble out of Fountain. Quite disapointing really, we liked the gumption they once showed.

Mitch Taylor Caldari Dark-Rising Fallen Souls	Posted - 2007.01.14 02:42:00 - [78] *Battle Report Fountain 13.01.07* Early evening, Some Dark pilots are in PNQY kicking their heels. They are ordered to form up and head to core to gank the locals. At this point Dark is 7 strong. They head to core and find no easy targets, they begin to move back towards PNQY to meet other Dark pilots. As they jump back into PNQY they recieve word of a 14 man hostile gang in 3WE. Scouts are sent into 9-V and 3WE to observe. Dark form up on the 9-V gate, at this stage 14 strong with 4 xelas pilots supporting. Attempting to anchor a large bubble we recieve warning that we are near a natural disturbance. Confused we test our MWD's to our horror they are not working! At this point the hostiles are sitting at different ranges from the PNQY gate in 9-v, under the watchful eye of our coverts. I order the fleet to the gate, in preparation to jump in. I then recieve word that MWD do not work on the otherside either. (5 of total 7 bs are blaster megas :P) So jumping in is no longer an option. To add insult to injury more xelas are now helping, but we are on seperate voice. I break local silence and order everyone back to the station, knowing this would force the hostiles hand. Sure enough they begin to move towards the PNQY gate. At this point another 20 hostiles enter PNQY from 3WE! shock horror it was a sneaky trap me thinks! We safe spot and arrange re-inforcements. Continued... Dark-Rising

We get plenty of support from the locals asking for gang, but no many BS. We still have the original 7. Everyting else is frigs and cruisers. Hostiles move to station and interdictor the undocking ramp, stopping people from changing ships. (smart move) I recieve word from eyes that hostile only have 9 bs spread out around station, lots of support at 30km from 9-v gate. It was time to make our move, we moved to safe at 9-v and re-aligned for station. Some words of encouragment to the gang and 'click' The rest has been captured in video form for the general publics pleasure. It was an even fight (except you had a pair of capitals :P) Overall you performed well against a superior force. Welldone Dark-Rising

I'm sorry you find it hard to admit that Xelas and co. can form a resistance against the insurgancy after you claimed we're a weak and useless force; I'm also sorry that you find it hard to admit that Celes had a fair number of their pilots there... I'm supprised Zenith havn't figured out that Celest are insulting their ability to fight on any scale, you're inviting un-experienced PvPers to 0.0 and expecting them not to fight or to hide; they put up a damn good fight in YZ- and despite what the killboards may show, i was there the whole time, and all i remember was UG saying at the 30-40 minute mark "Why do they keep comming to get slaughtered?" over and over they warped in, and failed to do any damage to any of the carriers; and when they try to copy our tactic, they lose a officer fitted thanatos...well isn't that just ironic. Don't talk smack about BoB and having Vassal alliances/corps when you do the same thing.

(not saying you were just there at the end btw, just that was when I saw your gang) For the beginning our gang was in the adjoining systems watching for reinforcements while waiting to hear from the guys in PNQ that they had undocked to engage, at which point we would warp in and assist (we had covops as warp ins on all their ranged fighters) We killed the Omen who provided the cyno (too late of course) and then proceeded to put all our scram points on the first Thanatos (the one that died) most of us began to dps it at that point. The 2nd carrier jumped in, and smartly nos'd our tacklers and warped away. Our cov ops managed to probe down his safe, at which point he jumped out of system. Insert random targetting of whoever didnt warp away/instapop where necessary. Was a fun fight sure, glad everyone stuck around to have it
