and it still crashed twice and had lag even in systems with 3 ships, not to mention jump queues in those same systems. I do not mean offline gates either.

I dont normally play on a sunday evening.......I'll log in just to see what the lag is like, if it's not too bad I might stay....but I'm not going to hold my breath

More numbers = more money for ccp= more money for... well, yeah, good question. CCP has what ? Thrice the employee count as three years ago.
Forget about lag being solved, CCP do what they can, and that simply isn't enough, that's all. All games get laggy, Eve just more so, and here it's more annoying i guess. Oh, and here the devs make fancy statements about reducing it that they can't make true on due to the rising playercount negating whatever progress they make.
Really a pity that i'm dead against sharding, I guess I'll just have to hope Eve grows less popular.

Well, I can, only it's slow. Took about 80 seconds from char selection now, but still. Last time I logged in (in Jita), about 25 minutes ago, it took less than 20 seconds.
