However, we do feel that this conversation will help bring light to the subject for those who are still truely neutral. The following is a 5 hour chat log that transpired before the 1 week ultimatium was given. There are a few disclaimers that I would like to state up front, even though it is bound to be drowned out by the mob. 1) Obviously all passwords and channels have been changed. (they were left to prove we didnt edit crap) 2) After the third hour I lost my cool. I am normally a very calm person, But I fully admit after the third hour I lost my cool and began to go off. I personally apologize to Omega Corp for my behavior as cussing is never necessary in a game. EDIT: 3) Another reason we decided to release this is we felt if OC decided to release it that it would have been edited and after that it would be impossible to tell which one was the real version. So we decided to post it uncut immediately We are releasing this in hopes that the still undecided community will see the truth of the matter and have the same facts we did when the majority. Lastly I would like to again say that it is unfortunate in the power of the mob in these forums and we fully understand that this chat log will be torn to PEICES. But its the truth and the community has a right to know. I know people will have questions reguarding some of the information as it might be a bit confusing. Honest questions about clarifying something I will be happy to respond to. Obviously flames will be ignored. And it shows clearly in your excerpt that we were faced with the fact to give into their bullish demands or face civil war. I have already apologized for my rude comments, there is nothing i can do to change that. Normally i will not be responding to every chat log thats pasted here, espically since this has been up 5 minutes and that guy hasn't read the whole thing. He then wanted to scout it out. I said sure agree to an equal distribution you can come look at my area all you want. But at the time they were in a limbo state cause we didnt know what they were going to do. I did not want them in my area to create book marks or anything else to prepare for war. He then suggested that we go under escort. Normally this would have been fine, but why should i agree to waste time when I knew for certain he would never agree to a trade after seeing how mined out the systems were (not by EV). I said if he felt it was unequal i would be more than happy ot let any other council member scout out the systems or specter could do it himself after he agreed to equality and after he agreed and wanted to trade i would even trade him for his new equal state. He still did nothing. Basically what you are reading in reguards to that situation is a desperate attempt to make me look bad, but you'll see i have support from all of my fellow council members that them scouting my systems before agreeing to equality wasn't necessary. I appreciate you taking the time to post this. I haven't been to Stain very many times, but I always wondered what was going on. Now, through reading your post on the transcript, I can see a little of what is happening. I hope Omega Corps does the right thing. They should protect what is theirs. It sure looks like EV is trying to rule there and forget the history of how OC was there to bring about the SA. I really enjoyed Specter's comment that summed it up really nice. Something along the lines of: "It is not about the stations or belts, it is about the treachery." Omega is doing the only thing that can do when pushed like this, and that is stand up for themselves and for what is right. Good luck to ya! Agent Shield

It would appear that one of the founding SA corps who did most of the work in clearing the area and defending stain is getting outvoted by a bunch of newer corps that have everything to gain and nothing to lose. To picture this another way, 3 people do a ton of work and start up a company that makes a ton of money. A few years later they hire 10 new employees. A month after that, those employees complain that the 3 people that started the company have an unequal share of the money. Thats just wrong. The real problem is that those 10 new employees seem to have equal voting power. I would thing that the 3 founding members would have been given veto power on council votes. Thats the only protection from a situation like this. I'm really not sure what PR victory Civil Deity was expecting out of this post, but SA certainly doesn't gain any sympathy from this. My question to Civil Deity is: Why do all corps deserve an equal amount of systems with the rares? I run a corp and have been a member of other corps and no matter what people say, NOT everyone does their fair share of the work. It's not easy comming up with a system that rewards everyone exactly right, but it ****es the hell out of me when people that I know don't pull their weight start complaining about why I seem to be playing favorites with others. Not once did I see anyone saying that Omega is not pulling their weight, therefore they deserve to lose systems to more deserving corps. At least this helps make up for the lack of any other content in this game :)
Napalm SW	Posted - 2003.12.05 19:39:00 - [22] Hi, I as well can see things from OC's Side. They were looking to hold on to as much Rares as they can since their Corp Model was built that way. The thing is OC is 1 corp out of 12 in an alliance, This allinace voted unamiously to split rares in the region evenly. NOT just EV, but the Majority decided. Take both sides with a grain of salt since there was some trash talk, and look at what started it. Is was a simle question of why if there was a equal share of rares going to all corps, why did 1 corp get almost 200% more than other corps. In OC position It would be a kick to the balls to loose these rares, but this is where one has to wonder if they are looking ot for the alliance or the Corp. This was only the start of the problem... The reason for the final war was because OC accepted, but actually planned to stab us all in the back later on. They were also going to mine other people rares and play stupid when caught. This is reason the war started is because they are no longer Trustworthy and have no honor. There are voice recordings of the CEO of OC himself making these back stabbing plans. And they will be released in a official post this weekend. We (Solar Wind)were very Tight with OC, going all the way back to beta when our corp first started. They help get us off our feet, but if my friend(s) plan on stabbing me in the back, I have no choice but to no longer trust them. OC is great with propaganda, but there is a lot more to the story. Seems to me as though he wanted to show the actual facts of teh matter rather than a biased statement. The chat log showed the real events and so isnt obscured by biased oppinions, unlike most forum crap. Its funny how people who have little or no idea whats going on post on this. Its good to have views, but as your not part of the alliance you dont really know what your talking about. The chat log is there simply to present some facts to a place where facts arnt often shown. The forums are hardly a good place to find imformation. Flames, attacks, insults etc are all pathetic forum habits. Anyway, as civil said, read it as you will. Each person is allowed their oppinion. Don't let OC's Delusions of Grandeur fool you into thinking they did everything. Yes They did their Share if not more, but that does not give them the right to control the majority of the rares in a region. LOL, 90% of their corp are all new members that were not even here in those days. Again, When I heard the recording of OCÆs CEO planning to stab all of Stain in the back, this was appalling and will be dealt with. I never said that you did not invite us.... I thank OC for the invitation to stain Way back in the beginning of Eve. The thing I do not like is that Spectar would like to make comments to his members such as ... we had to drag SolarWind out to stain.... We had to spoon feed SolarWind to move to stain..... We had to convince SolarWind to come to Stain..... We Carried their Asses So Much in Beta.... Get over yourselfs. Whe Stain First opened up, we knew nothing about it, we first sent out scouts after you invitation was made. Once things looked good, Our High Command Decided it was a good Idea to move, so we packed up everything and moved out. We did this all several days after you were already out there. Again I thank OC for asking us to go to Stain, But I do not thank you for the back handed comments in doing so. As will We are not fans of the Back Stabbing plot to go against the SA. If I did not hear it I would not belive that you would turn against us. So Please do not try and make it as thou I owe you and I should be On your side.
