As promised we (SA) have decided to release the teamspeak conversations to prove our case verses omega corp. We have 3 main recordings (2 mintues each) for you to listen to. However if you are interested, all 23 recordings are available. The recordings go from 1-23 in order. There is a small gap in between each recording. Number 1, 10 and 11 are our main recordings that we would like you to listen to.
1) Unfortunately this starts halfway ,but for those who have been following basically this shows that omega was planning to go to war and reject the proposal until they realised the whole SA and its friends were behind the move. They decided to accept our proposal as to not go to war just yet.
10) Number 10 shows how they would be willing to play "the fool" and mine in areas they weren't supposed to and play dumb when asked about it.
11) Number 11 is the main one which states that they would be creating a shadow corporation to fight SA , while being a member in the alliance at the same time. Obviously this was the final straw. How could we have a member in the alliance who has stated he would be attacking us. After hearing this war was immediately declared.
This will be the final statement from the SA and below are all the signatures from SA CEO's confirming we are unified in this action.

Isn't that exactly what EV did when they moved into stain? They poached ore from OC controlled systems then played dumb. =)

Obviously this was the final straw. How could we have a member in the alliance who has stated he would be attacking us. After hearing this war was immediately declared.
Then why wasn't SW ejected from stain for attacking OC with a shadow corp?
Personally, I think moles would be regarded as a hostile action, EV/SW or whoever it was planted moles, i.e. commited an offensive act on OC while we were still a member of SA. Why haven't the corps ,with whom the moles belong to, been ejected from the alliance?
These inconsistencies make that post a load of crap.

Oh yeah btw, nice posting coordination there. Pity you guys couldn't pull that off fighting CA, oh no but wait, you had us to do that. =)

In regards to the first clip, all I hear is someone explaining to an OC member why we were not going to go to war and why we were accepting the terms. Accepting the SA council's decisions is now an act of war or what? :P

I would say this backs up what we've been saying all along. Thanks EV, lets go over the primary recordings as the others are mainly boring mining chatter.
Rec 1: This clearly shows that we had decided to accept the ultimatum for now. So whats your point?
Rec 10: This recording was prior to the 1600 deadline when we were to hand over ot-lib so we were mining OUR system.
As far as playing dumb, yes, it appeared we might run over the limit by 15-30 minutes... ooooh we're evil. Did you edit out my further comment on that which was "EV should know that tactic very well" refering to EV illegally mining our systems THREE times in the past. I find it hilarious that the corporation that is accusing us of illegally mining for 15-30 minutes is the same corp that has done it all along.
Rec 11: First part shows that we were going to put out a nominal defense effort just as other SA corps have and still do... "more than one can play at that game".
it then proceeds to prove that we only intended on attacking SW and EV with a shadow corp NOT the whole alliance. Both of these traitors had already attacked OC with shadow corps and as I always say... "more than one can play at that game". So the SA thinks that we should not respond in kind to SW and EVs shadow corp attacks???
Further disclosure I have no problems saying that we in OC discussed many possible options and courses of action. Far too many for me to even recall with any accuracy. However, talking about possibilities in a game and actually doing them are two completely different things. EV and SW actually DID operate shadow corps against us, an SA member prior to any issues between OC and the SA. OC had yet to act in revenge against the EV and SW actions and I stand by our decision to fight fire with fire.
To the SA as a whole: You have been given ample opportunity to see the facts presented on both sides. EV has released their tapes which imo only verify we were only targeting SW/EV for treachery on their parts and the rest is basically nothing.
OC has restrained and limited our attacks in the hope that you would make the right choice. Obviously you have made another choice.
From this point forward ALL corps flying the SA tag or the "friends of SA" tag will be KOS and hunted relentlessly. You will find no safety within Stain, the days of a peaceful and relatively safe Stain are over.
You will learn first hand exactly why OC was SA's best offensive military asset.

Edited by: Bigfoot Hunter on 08/12/2003 03:55:17 Edited by: Bigfoot Hunter on 08/12/2003 03:50:10 So they recorded a mining op and discusson (main word disscusion lots of it happens on mining ops they where discussing the possibility of a shadow corp also in one of the other snipits you can hear them discussing how they think tech 2 will work) omg we are so dang evil .I rember once when i caught ev mining in our space, they are the kings of playing dumb they where something like 20 jumps from there territory I informed the duke of there mining their reply to him was something along the lines that they where lost .
Too bad im not on any of the recordings I wanted to be famous .
Well thats all I have to say I know ev will probably flame me now but to tell you the truth I don't give a dam and don't even plan on responding to them when they do. Hell they don't respond in local when I say good fight gentle men so why should I respond when they talk smack? At the end of the day it is just a game.

Tivian, I agree 100%. We in OC have learned to respect so many in the CA over the course of the war. Since this whole backstabbing by SA we have been saying "we have NEVER seen the CA stab their allies in the back like SA has done". And the SA has the nerve to throw stones.
Regardless of whether or not CA corps can bury the grudges from the past war, OC will be making every possible effort to avoid conflict with CA. We will of course be chain spawning the SA

First and foremost, I would like to ask why it took 3 days to produce this 'evidence'. In any case...whatever...I will address them in turn below:
I know Duke has already posted on this subject before me, I wrote this post long before him and damnit if I'm gonna let all this work go to waste.
In recording 1 Duke specifically states that we were going to go along with what the SA council decides. The rest of the tape is conjecture about what could happen with all the positioning that is going on.
Recording 10 is about mining in areas that we started mining when they were still OURS and haven't been 'redistributed' (note the heavy sarcasm). Well, let me ask you this: If you were faced with losing a system you were counting on keeping (because we're mining 0t-lib, which OC had previously stated that it would NOT give up), wouldn't you want to reap what you can? Oh wait...isn't that what EV did when they gave territory to new 'members' of stain (Oh...and who got to vote on new members of the alliance? Or did they just happen to be members one day? Yeah, how nice for letting us know after they've been approved.)
Oh, side note: On the vote of redistributing, which of the new members voted against redistribution? None? Of course they didn't wanna give up the chance for free systems. How silly. But recording 1 he states that we were going to go along with it (even though we're taking it up the tailpipe). And more personally, I can attest that at no point in time did I hear Duke say that he was going to disobey the council's decision. Not in [bold]three whole months[/bold] did I hear even ONE duplicitous word from him. Which, by the way, the redistribution was conveniently put on hold while OC combatted CA for them. Why don't they need us anymore? Evolution entry and a territory grab at the same time? Must have been pretty desperate to actually push into war (yes, YOU pushed this, not OC).
Recording 11 starts off talking about who? Its not said, but I know who. They're talking about EV not really doing a whole lot for the offense of stain and that they put up a few here and there for appearances.
Then Duke makes a statement about a shadow corp that never even happened. Why didn't it happen? That is not known to me personally (I haven't been in game for a week or so). But because I know each member pretty well, I think, I bet I can draw a conclusion with some accuracy: Because most members weren't really hot on the idea of actually doing it so they moved slowly. But then a whole lot of other things happened soon enough that rendered the shadow corp unnecessary because the SA showed their true nature.
In addition to all I have said so far, you also have to take all these recordings into context and see WHY they are being said and WHY we're mining passed our deadline in a system thats designated as a redistribution system. They are taken at a point where Omega Corp has come under the suspicion (if not outright knowledge) that we are being manuevered and set up to remove us from Stain (or make us want to leave) by the very members of the alliance that we've worked for from the very outset. It kinda leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, especially when your supposed closest ally is the first to stab you (et tu Brute?) before even the deadline was passed.
If you're not going to start making preparations for a probably war by then, you're an idiot and you don't deserve to be a CEO and your corp is going to fail or be pushed back into empire space. We are NOT about to do that. You can kiss my cruise missile.
What are the rest of the recordings about? People mining? Wow....So exciting. Wait, lets not forget recording 17 that is so prominently displayed at the bottom of the list about an SW member gone 'rogue' and formed a shadow corp, who has by now returned to SW (geee....). What did this member do? He attacked us before the decision was publicized. Nice. I bet he was accepted back with open arms, because they knew about it the whole time.
I suppose SW will continue to deny that he was acting under SW orders, or that they had no knowledge of what he was going to do. Too bad they can't produce any recordings that prove this innocence.
And all these recordings are supposed to be a mountain of evidence against us? What you have is a lot of links to people chatting while under a mining op that probably shouldn't have been done. So anyone reading this, don't bother with any of the other recordings but the first three with the addition of recording 17 that is so graciously posted here (BTW, why even bother to post that crap??).
In conclusion, there is absolutely no evidence of any plotting on our part and the war that has been started over it has been fished out of a barrel and propped up as justified.

Maybe because he see what bull**** the SA is spurting out? I mean this official post by the SA is supposed to be the nail in the coffin, the last word on the matter, to show the eve public without any doubt that we OC are baaad bad people who plotted against the SA when infact it doen't prove squat.
Rec1- Duke explaining to a member why we are giving into the SA councils demands. That's all I hear, i hear nothing about "OC giving into the demands for now just to wait till later to attack", absolutely nothing.
Rec10- Shows how we were mining OUR own systems before the deadline, omfg kick them out now! null
Rec11- The ONLY line that refers to a shadow corp in this recording is "the shadow corp will kick their asses". Now what does this mean? Maybe OC was planning to make a "shadow corp" against CA yes CA!?!, so that shadow corp could wage war on those CA who operated in sec systems with no sec status loss and no interference from concord or sentry guns? No, but you guys were too supicious of us to think of that one eh?
Personally, I'm extremely disappointed with with the rest of the SA, especially in MASS. I thought they would have the balls not to let EV be the political wolf that it is and stand alongside us. I don't know how any of the alliance members could have deduced all those wild claims from those recordings. The mind boggles.
Oh well, I guess SA will have to learn, through spilled blood, their mistakes. OC will open their eyes. We've had dozens of opportunites to attack SA targets that were not EV/SW so far. I'd suggest anyone wanting to farm mine in SA now not to go ANYWHERE without at least 10 man BS supporting you, for that will be the only occasion when you will really be safe from our wolves. SA members, forget about mining/farming anymore, it aint gonna be worth it.

I would like to point out that OC has been very selective in its attacks. As many in the SA now have witnessed, OC forces passed them by without attacking although we had the forces to easily have done so.
So please don't try and say "you're protecting them" as EV was nowhere to be able to help them. It was OC who left them in peace by our choice. It is still difficult for us to target many that we have considered friends and still hold out hope that they will see the truth.
Those that have actively fielded troops against us OR are operating within our RPS-OK border will be considered hostile and valid targets. There may come a time when we lose that hope and must begin striking at the "support" corps within the SA.

So basically you are saying that you'll only attack part of stain but that later when that part is weakened enough you'll attack the rest anyway even if you leave them alone now. Sounds to me that it would be better if the whole of stain did a full assault on you now in stead of letting you pick them off one at a time.

I think Duke's got the right idea. The last bit about support corps is easy to figure out. If they stay on the fences and dont push this injustice then they will be fine but, if they are activly helping fight them then its a fair game. Personaly, I wouldnt wait to strike at the "support" corps of the SA. I would take them out early, fast, with prejudice and with no warning. This is after all a war not a tea party. I am sure OC could do some dmg to most of the corps in SA but they have not as of yet. That alone should show the character of the OC unlike the treacherous actions of some others who I dont really need to name. Those in the SA should read my Quote it has been around and true for a couple thousand years.

Ardanwen: You could read it that way but to clarify: OC NEVER wanted to or intended to attack anyone but SW and EV for their use of shadow corps against us which they did BEFORE their were issues between OC and the SA. Therefore we are attempting to limit our hostilities in a final attempt to PROVE to the SA corps that it was in fact EV and SW that have betrayed the alliance and not OC. EV has been plotting and using underhanded tactics against OC since the day they arrived in Stain and SW began doing so in the recent past.
Methos: We fully understand that this puts us at a disadvantage and so does EV. We have noticed lately that EV is not to be found in Stain unless they are in large SW/EV fleets. They have obviously moved most of their operations out of Stain realizing our reluctance to attack the other SA corps.
We will not be able to hold back our attacks forever in light of this fact. We do not want to attack these other SA corps but we may be forced to weaken their infrastructure and PROVE to them that EV and SW cannot protect them as he claimed. It was OC that through offensive presure helped preserved the overall peace they enjoyed within stain for the past couple months. Not to say that defenses did not as well with MASS spearheading that front.
Everyone knows that we could have destroyed many more BS's that were caught by suprise by OC forces but we chose not to. Everyone knows that this would have caused greater presure within the SA council but we chose not to utilize that advantage.
Btw, that was a great quote... =S=

Edited by: Centuri on 10/12/2003 15:18:40 Exactly Azure. Logical reasoning like yours seems to be in short supply within the SA at the moment. Infact no I retract that, SA has leadership that can look at information objectively and figure out if it's bull or legitimate intel on which to base their decisions, but choose not to use it.
It "seems" that the SA council decided to base their extremely serious decisions of the Alliance upon intel which proves absolutely NOTHING! I say "seems" because no other reasons have been given. I can only assume that there are other motives,
Now I fail to believe that an alliance can choose intel of as poor a quality and reliability as these recordings and base their policy upon them.
Would the alliance like to state the real reason why these accusations were brought upon OC. Is it because EV is the politcal wolf that we say and none of council are willing to risk loosing their nice mining territories standing up to them maybe?
