Hello everyone, im kinda new to mineing. I have been mining ICE in the empire for the past few days and i have quite a bit of it now. Before i refine it and try and sell what comes from it, should i get a industrial ship or transport ship to sell it? I know that the place i am mining is buying the stuff for -80%. So i think i need to move it somewhere. But where and how? Thanks alot!!

Hi there, and welcome to the world of mining ice..hope you have a good book.
The -80% price you mentioned is just someone putting out a cheeky buy order. Buy for much less than its worth and re-sell. You dont really have to move your goods. Just when you sell, click the "advanced" option on the bottom right of your window. It will then give you a better idea of what you can sell for. Choose a price you want to sell at, followed by the length of time you want the order to stand for. Id suggest 7 days initially. Then click ok.

Move it to a decent sized/price buy order is the way to go. Either that, or simply place a sell order. POS fuel sells pretty well around 0.0 entrypoints.

If your ice is in a Ducia, Amarr constructions, or Sarum Family station, I would be willing to come refine it for you (by item exchange contract), and take only 1% of the yield. If you have perfect refine on ice, then ignore this :P
BTW, this offer is good for anyone who cares to take it up. Any highsec ore or ice, in a highsec station from the three corps listed above. I'm currently working Amarr Navy faction as well. Please make the refining quantities big enough to be worth me traveling though, lol.

If you are going to sell your ice minerals then I recommend you find the major choke points around the galaxy and prehaps even get yourself some NPC goods and take them with you.
If you look at systems close to HED-GP or Doril those are some busy pipe routes to 0.0 in the South. I can't think of any for the North at the moment.

Torrinos could take care of Fade, Pureblind and Deklein... and Orvolle will work for all of those as well, plus Syndicate, Cloudring and perhaps ORE space.
Oh, and don't waste time moving Heavy Water.... many POSes in 0.0 are set up for defence, no industry, so Liquid Ozone is in more demand. Heavy water is therefore a surplus, and sells for only 20-40 ISK per unit. Liquid ozone, Stront and racial isotopes are the ticket.
