It depends. If it involves function hooks, then yes it violates the EULA as it is modifying EVE's executable code in memory. If it works at the driver level, then no it does not violate (EVE's) EULA, similar to how using nHancer to force FSAA + HDR was not a violation.
Basically, so long as the application does not look at or modify EVE's memory space then you are cool (and so long as it does not automate gameplay). |

It depends. Is it giving you an unfair advantage over other players? If no, then it should be fine. Although i don't see why you'd need a post process injector as all the graphical option in eve are enough to make it gorgeous.

Basically you are not allowed to use any software to play the game for you or modify any of the clients game's files and or infomration it receives from the server or gives to the server.
So graphical enhancers fall in none of those catagories yet.

Here is why many people are commenting on your face:
The straight on angle and the tattoo all lend themselves to making the monocle resemble your eye bulging out of your skull and bring focus to it. You seemed confused as to why they kept saying it.
As far as your actual question goes, it comes down to what/where the program is doing the work. Like others have said if it modifying how the driver for your graphics card handle it then you are fine. Anything else is a gray area.
Petitioning it is probably good idea, make sure to provide them with as much information about what you are using to do it as well. |
