first of all, nonyabisnes. second, I think they kicked him out for ignoring ranks (leader told him to stay and he didnt so leader died in tempest) So I think its all about bad feelings for eachother. + after he got kicked out he invited all PKs to join NVA channel, was pretty funny though ;)
But from my experience with Kurenin, hes mainly a hotheaded freelancer, a skilled fighter who doesnt listen to anyone but his own voice in hes head.
Hes a cool guy mainly, just somethimes hes a bit agressive to fast and that goes wrong with most people. If they only would try to see trough the hotheaded pilot they will see a cool player just trying to survive like all of us, nothing wrong with that really.
(btw, kurr if ur reading this, remember what I told ya )

Sorry about the way it worked out Kurenin. Stay in touch and I hope you find what it is you're looking for in Eve.
There is enough *****ing and stupidity in Eve as it is, I don't wanna add to it.
Take care Kur,

pending your not clueless about warfare your forces had an advantage over the very low firepower scorps. Scorpion's are highly overated vs other battleships and mostly are good because people don't know how to setup a ship. _______________________________________________________ Get custom sigs and graphics done here Unforgivn Website

So if Kurenin was LEADER it doesnÆt matter why, she told everyone to warp out. The people under her command that did not warp out got upset because they did not listen and got killed. Now, they are upset and looking to blame some one and god forbid they blame themselves for their stupidityààno better to fry Kurenin

The sacking of Kurenin from Jericho Fraction had nothing to do with the NVA, initially anyhow. The long and the short of it was; that Kurenin had proved a poor fit for Jericho, had been formally warned a couple of times for behaviour unbecoming, and was ultimately tagged for dismissal by my security directors.
This was a shame, since I actually liked Kurenin as a person, but she had a very hot temper and a lot of frustrations with Eve and the way things were in the NVA.
For the record of course Kurenin did well from her time at Jericho, with pretty much free access to ordinance, equipment and NVA rate ship replacements and such. And there was at the time of the dismissal no issue of stealing or malfeasance to be considered.
Sadly however things didnÆt work out that way.
Firstly,
KureninÆs initial action on being sacked was to invite every pirate in Eve into NVA secure chat as ôrevengeö for being dismissed.
Secondly,
It turned out Kurenin was in receipt of a 300million-ish personal loan from another Jericho member at the time of the dismissal. Needless to stay Kurenin found the matter very amusing and played me for a couple of hours as I begged her to return this money to the guy in question. (A chap who had nothing to do with the sacking decision and had lent Kurenin the money as a charitable gesture to help her recover from recent ship losses.)
Thirdly, Kurenin approached a number of corporations with a bulk load of internal Jericho Fraction corp chatlogs with the intention of either selling them, or causing whatever havoc might be caused pertaining to recent JF issues.
Fourthly,
Kurenin rounded on me with the following blood-curdling threat à
[ 2003.12.08 22:56:12 ] Kurenin > but i think your a bad leader and im going to make you suffer
To which I have to say, ôà take a ticket and join the queue.ö
In conclusion,
Like I said, I am personally sad we had to dismiss Kurenin. This represents a personal failure for me, since I made the hiring decision at the time based on Kurenin talking to me at length for her desire and ambition to join a decent corporation and be part of a dynamic progressive team. I took a risk and it failed. Regardless of the reasons for the dismissal there is absolutely no merit to the actions Kurenin took last night.
It proved my security directors absolutely right in wanting Kurenin dismissed, she was, (in the words of one) ôa ticking bombö and itÆs fairly obvious to me that she would eventually have gone off.
All the pain and scandal now forthcoming is likely to be a better alternative to what may have happened if she had remained in place.
And that, mÆdears, is the story.
Love and peace

It was interesting to see people log into the chat and then notice all the pirates in it. Was nice to talk to some old comrades though. Some of the less interesting SI weren't quite so welcome.

TBH, I'm getting pi ssed off with all the backstabbing and stirring going on in Eve right now. I hope people can be adults about this and that Kurenin returns the money that was loaned.
Lets all get on and play the game. -------------------------------------------- Dead

Re the money my friend, what can I say. If dismissing a person for breaching corporate standards is reason enough for that person to steal a lot of somebody else's money, then hey, we really do live in strange times.
All I know monsieur is that if someone lent me money out of the goodness of their heart to help me recover from unfortunate losses ... I would pay it back whatever might happen in the interim.
There is a theory for all this taught to me a long time ago by a good friend, and though it will never survive the profanity filter it goes ...
A **** will always find an excuse to **** you.
In this case its ... "I would have payed them back but now since you did "X" I won't."
Child's argument.
The sad thing is its not money belonging to any of the people that decided to sack Kurenin. Just a wellwisher and ex-corp mate.
Whatever happens the loss will be made good and we trust that Kurenin will either do the decent thing,
Or be remembered as someone that you shouldn't lend money too.
Either way, whats done is done

Never lend ISK to anyone in the game. If a person needs ISK then try to get something of equal value from that person until they can pay you back. Rare items that you can sell for example, if the party involved has any. If not then you can buy a homing beacon from me that I have had specially designed to work with my "Uber l337 BFG 50000 Deathbringer Torpedos" that when shot will automatically find their target up to 80 jumps away. Very effective I tell you.

Kurenin used to be a member in the FA. Got booted for being a general turd.
I remember he offered me a 5 run scorp bp @ min lvl 5 for a nice price of about 16mill. I came to pick it up from civ space, the general turd changed the price on me. Began to up his price, I tried to negotiate with him, but then he ignored me. Lots of times he would give info on where an enemy was, then ask for help, then complain about the ship he was in and run off. Same story different day different system.

As most of you know there is no love lost between JEDI and Jericho Faction (We have never been TTI). That aside I have to side with Jade about the repayment of the loan regardless of circumstance.

All of this makes me kinda glad that I'm broke all the time
Honestly, I help people all the time, but since I don't have much, it's mainly newer players, and a frigate is a small cost in comparison to some of the scaming/ripoff artists/thieving people that play the game.
Someone should make a site that has a list of known offenders of such offenses so that the mistake isn't repeated by other people that don't read the forums.
