Everyone whos been to Jita knows theres always a giant game of ship ping-pong going on outside of this station in the undocking area. There are 7 gates in Jita, one of them is straight upwards from the station and the other 6 are on the other side of where you undock. This means if you try to warp when you undock you simply get stuck on the station. You have to fly out for a bit then attempt to warp. In a freighter, this gets to be a real pain.
If the devs simply rotated the station 180 degrees then those 6 gates would have a free path from the undocking area and we wouldnt have such a giant mess there all the time.
Hopefully a dev sees this, a very simple change will save a lot of bumpety-bump for the huge number of players that go through it each day.

The owners of Jita 44 (Caldari Navy) should spend the money to rotate the station, and upgrade the undocking platform. That poor station sees so many travelers it is in terrible need of an upgrade. The Caldari Navy are now the richest navy in the universe just because of the taxes they collect.

it'd be cool if different class/size ships undocked on different sides of the station, it's a shame for such a big thing to be seen from the same side cluttered with ships..

Hey here is a thought.....DONT GO TO JITA.
Who said that Jita has to be the end-all commerce center of the EVE-Verse, The only reason it is right now is because thats where people go if enough people get tired of it and go to another system then guess what we could have two or three or MORE commerce systems in EVE. Heck with enough thought we could have one commerce hub Per Region....
But the sheep will follow and Jita will probally continue to reign supreme as the Lag center/commerce center of EVE...
Just my thoughts.

This really isnt about the terrible lag you get a peak or whatever. This is simply a request to the devs to rotate the station to prevent everyone getting stuck. Its the same as I have posted in the past about those damn gallente stations.

You could also just move the undock point on that class of station. It has ALWAYS been an issue. To the freighter pilot, try making an escape point BM directly out from the dock point. You might have to do 2 jumps to get clear, but hopefully you can avoid the pingpong. To everyone else. PLEASE pilot away from the station in a random direction and then try to warp.

um... it doesnt only happen in jita it happens at a lot of stations, depending on where you are trying to warp. Granted not as many ships undocking at the same time in other areas.
You would think there would be a way to make it so that ships do not get hung up on stations, i see no benefit to them getting stuck in the first place so get rid of it in the game physics.

Please dont turn it into a 'go somewhere else' thread. Thats not the issue, i dont mind the lag and the bugs in jita, id just like the caldari navy to realign their station to give their patrons a clearer route out.

If you want to fix Jita 4/4, just make it the setting for the "Gallente Navy Fires Doomsday Weapon at Heart of Caldari Commercial Center" event.
Once the server reboots, a new era will dawn!

There shouldn't be any changes made which make working in Jita easier.
This is a problem encountered all over Eve. Barges getting stuck on asteroids, capitals getting stuck on drones. It's the reality of the situation.
If it's that much of a problem, you SHOULD go somewhere else. Why do you even have to use that particular station? Not like Jita only has 1 station is it.

A post based on common sence addressing a problem with a simple answer on the EvE-O forum... no it cant be, wheres the whine?
I support this idea, it should be applied to other stations as well, for example Rens BTT and Ilinfrik Pator Tech.
