Hey guys.
I have now officially resigned from my position in ISS Management and my corporation has left the alliance. I made a larger post on the ISS internal forums but one is required here so that the public are aware that I'm no longer a contact in the alliance and that I have no say in or responsibility for further decisions by ISS Management.
ISS is not a sinking ship by any measure - the core corps are sticking with them and they seem to be adapting to their new circumstances amicably. They still have over 250b of shareholder isk to generate 5% profit per month on and seem to be doing a good job of it. These wars are trial by fire and hopefully we'll see ISS come out of it better than they went in.
The overall direction ISS is now taking is likely to be an exciting one for those members who stick by them and for the sake of shareholders I hope it's a profitable and successful one. However, this direction is one that my corpmates disagree with and do not want to be a part of. I tend to agree. Now IS a time for change within ISS but that change is taking a route that I personally do not wish to be a part of. It is now, while ISS changes internally to meet the new set of circumstances presented, that we would cause the least upset to operations by leaving. Thus now is the best time for us to leave.
I'd like to extend my personal thanks to Count TaSessine for letting me help out as part of the management team, to the felows down in Calico and up in Providence that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I'd also like to say thanks to Sylph Alliance, who are decent fellows and have offered me a position in their alliance which I will unfortunately have to turn down. It's time for my corp to catch a little downtime and bum about empire.
And last but not least, thanks to IAC, AAA, SoD, Goonswarm, D2 and everyone else that's been attacking ISS for keeping life interesting out in 0.0 while we were there :). It was one hell of a ride, time for a bit of a change of scenery.

Pff, I have a new dread anyway, and a carrier and enough isk to replace them both. Still, grats on that kill when you got it, it was a masterpiece of co-ordination. I think I remember seeing you there personally. Or someone else in an unbelievably fast crow.

yeah that was me and i also made that really crappy video at 4 am. Next time nyphur can you please go mining at a normal time of the day

Now to top that feat, I'd have to take the old guardian vexor out mining. However, I've learned from THAT mistake. No more dread-mining for me. Now it's dread-hauling :D. Some day I might use a dreadnought for what it's intended to be used for... some day.

As an ex-ISS member, I thought Pillowsoft was one of the most respectable corporations. They did their job well both in carebearing and pvping. ISS won't be the same without Pillowsoft. Good luck to you, Nyphur, and the rest of Pillowsoft.

But ISS is strong and making lots of money with shareholder isk! Or something.

Actually, while I was regional co-ordinator of Providence, I was based down in Tenerifis and didn't go up that way a whole lot.
5% profit isn't hard to make, ISS'll do fine if they keep their wits about them. But it's no longer my responsibility and it's strangely calming not to have any alliance-level responsibility. I'll enjoy this :).
