What I find most amusing is the fact that Octobersnow actually think they are PVPing. A brief look at their killboard shows that they are not.
LOL they've even adjusted the way that type of board displays kills so that noob ships, capsules and shuttles show up on the front page(and there's a lot of them)  .
Seems like what happened yesterday was that they fecked up and inadvertently got involved in some real PVP, whereupon they got their asses handed to them.
Logging off in combat is always lame... whatever the reason. The fact that you did it Tiller doesn't surprise me at all.

Well if you had any reading skills you would have noticed that in this case I did say that they got involved in PVP inadvertently. Looks like that having used their cap ships to gate-gank shuttles and the like, they got ambitious and decided to try to take down a POS.
They then came across somebody that knew how to PVP and use their Cap ships properly with the inevitable results.

you need to re read it i think not me and you will see that my point was that your saying ganking ppl with no chance of surviving is not 'real' pvp but getting their cap ships ganked by a much superior force is 'real' pvp. don't see much difference tbh.
but why put silly flames like the up anyway. they come on admitting that they got totally owned and you flame them for it.
the bottom line is yes 90% of their kills in frigs, shuttles and haulers but they probably make a fortune from it ie pirating. just because they do that doesn't mean they don't participate in 'real' pvp as well.

I don't see the big deal. i personally have never logged to save my pod but i have never lost a ship in a big battle when i have been in a JC with many implants so don'tknow if i would or not. i have had many ppl do this to me and it has never angered me nor has it made me think less of the pilot.

do you really think that they sit a carrier on a gate with it's fighters out attacking ppl. have u any idea what gate guns do to fighters?
I don't know for a fact but i'm guessing the carrier is used for remote repping and cap transferring to the smaller ships that can lock down the targets making for a perma tank.
at best i would think ginger uses t1 drones or sentry drones for dmg as this is all that's needed against a lone opponent.
So try thinking for about 10 seconds about whether you actually know more than these guy about gate camping and save yourself looking like a tard on the forums.

and have u any idea how much isk u make from gatecamping all day popping shuttles and frigs carrying implants/bpc/bpo's etc and the bigger targets obviously. but i have no idea on their isk making and neither do you. seems yet another comment designed to flame/annoy them so don't be surprised when u get a war dec come through. that's all i'm saying
